I can relate to your day! I am a stay at home Grandma of 2! A 2 yr old and 4 yr old. I used to use nap time to get things done too. Now my Grand daughter is in Pre-K and while my Grand Son is taking his nap I go into Grandma time mode! In goes the DVD on onward with the exercising! And like you I sleep better, less stress and feel better! I am glad that you too found a balance in your daily routine! Best of luck & congratulations on your little one!
There is a song on a show that my Grand Kids watch and I think it applies : "Keep trying, keep trying, don't give up, never give up" I intend to keep trying and I will never give up till I reach my goal!
Nothing happens overnight. Remember one pound lost is one pound closer to your goal.
Get up every morning, take a deep breath & make it the best day that you possibly can.
This has been a good week for the most part for me - I have definitely exercised way more than I typically do and increased momentum as well, drank lots and lots of water to stay full and watched what I was eating and ate less. Still tough I find when I want to eat and start it is hard to stop. As long as i bring lunch and plan, I am good, today I forgot my lunch so over ate today. :(
Now is the time to shine. What or who is dimming your light?

I made a concerted effort to work in even a little bit of exercise this week - walking to meetings instead of driving, taking walks with my dog, and doing situps during commercials while watching TV in evening. It is a nice balance to a job which requires a lot of sitting!

The main change I have made is that I make exercise a priority. I am a work at home mom of a 14 month old so I make sure I exercise while he is taking is nap, when before I would take that time to get as much work done as I could. I have found that I am sleeping better, that I am less stress, and that I just feel better about myself!
