I do the same thing. I have the DVD that I'll work out with and my workout clothes ready. I'll get up around 4:30am and start the next day. emoticon

I find that getting up 30 min earlier and had my DVD ready, something to throw on, and I ended up walking 2 miles. One of the walking DVD's. I find it easier to just get up and get it out the way. Then check the box later.

Edit your SparkPage. At the bottom you have the option of showing your weight loss ticker. Check the box and it will appear.

I didn't do my normal exercising. I was patching up holes with drywall in my living room. Put up some christmas lights. Painted my living room walls.

I'll do my workouts in the morning again.

I did not reach my goal for week one, so I began again this morning. I find that doing my exercise first thing in the morning helps. This week I will do 10 minutes of trampoline jumping.

That's Great! It's best to lose slowly. I, myself lost 2lbs as well for a total of 8 lbs. Just 2 more pounds to go to reach before Christmas which was my goal. And I hope I reach it. Was able to fit into a pair of pants that were really tight. emoticon

so its the end of week one and i know ive been trying to keep up for a whole week not missing any days but i have officially lost 2 pounds!!!
i know.. i know.. its not much but its soooooooo soooooo nice to see progress on the scale and its even better to see it in the mirror

I completed week 1 & I meet goals everyday! Now for week 2, I'm supposed to identify & incorporate 2 activities into my lifestyle. From the 30 days to an active lifestyle handout...I can identify the following I already do!

1. Wash dishes by hand often. 2. Park further away & walk in. 3. Wear a pedometer daily w/ 15000+ steps daily 4. Take the stairs 5. I walk 60-90 min daily 6. while watching tv, I sometimes just run in place as I watch to keep moving 7. move about while talking on the phone 8. I car dance! LOL

And sneaking fitness into things I do, well...while dusting, I put dance music & I dance while I dust! Cleaning mirrors, I reach & extend my arms as I swipe. I vacuum & dance & move about! Doing the laundry...I stand & stretch. Changing the bed linens...same deal.

Today I walked 90 minutes, I completed 10 min of jump start cardio workout w/coach Nicole. & I did 8 min balancing lower body band workout w/coach Nicole for strength & balance!

I kept w/in my calorie range, drank my 8 glasses of water, & moved my body!

I met my week one goals! I walked everyday for 15 min and did 10 min of stretching everyday.
Week 2 goals: 25 min of walking every day

emoticon 15 min os stretching/yoga everyday emoticon Finding new opportunities to add little bursts of fitness within my day. emoticon emoticon

It is far easier to MAKE time to exercise than it is to FIND time to exercise. You want results???? MAKE it happen.

After meeting my goals for week one I am ready for week 2.
Walk 5 days per week, at least 30 minutes.
Treadmill 3 days per week, 20 minutes.
