I find that getting up 30 min earlier and had my DVD ready, something to throw on, and I ended up walking 2 miles. One of the walking DVD's. I find it easier to just get up and get it out the way. Then check the box later.

That's Great! It's best to lose slowly. I, myself lost 2lbs as well for a total of 8 lbs. Just 2 more pounds to go to reach before Christmas which was my goal. And I hope I reach it. Was able to fit into a pair of pants that were really tight.

so its the end of week one and i know ive been trying to keep up for a whole week not missing any days but i have officially lost 2 pounds!!! i know.. i know.. its not much but its soooooooo soooooo nice to see progress on the scale and its even better to see it in the mirror good luck to all starting week 2 !!! lots of love and encouragement -mariaa
I completed week 1 & I meet goals everyday! Now for week 2, I'm supposed to identify & incorporate 2 activities into my lifestyle. From the 30 days to an active lifestyle handout...I can identify the following I already do!
1. Wash dishes by hand often. 2. Park further away & walk in. 3. Wear a pedometer daily w/ 15000+ steps daily 4. Take the stairs 5. I walk 60-90 min daily 6. while watching tv, I sometimes just run in place as I watch to keep moving 7. move about while talking on the phone 8. I car dance! LOL
And sneaking fitness into things I do, well...while dusting, I put dance music & I dance while I dust! Cleaning mirrors, I reach & extend my arms as I swipe. I vacuum & dance & move about! Doing the laundry...I stand & stretch. Changing the bed linens...same deal.
Today I walked 90 minutes, I completed 10 min of jump start cardio workout w/coach Nicole. & I did 8 min balancing lower body band workout w/coach Nicole for strength & balance!
I kept w/in my calorie range, drank my 8 glasses of water, & moved my body!
for week 2 day 1!
