I walk each morning before work. I walk on my breaks (when I get them) and a little on lunch.
Other ways I get more steps in:
-I parker futher away than needed
-I check my mail (which is located in a different area of my office)
-I march in place when I wash my hands in the bathroom, we have private bathrooms at work, I am not sure that I'd do this in a public bathroom...unless I needed more steps. LOL.

I have been leaving the car parked most of this week, and bike everywhere. I have an 18 month old, so she sits in her bike seat, and it adds to the challenge. She loves it, and so do I. I have to plan more time to take the kids around to their activities, but they are all doing it, and the complaining has stopped after a few days!
we even went on an hour long ride as a family yesterday. We were going to go have an ice cream on the way back, but the kids chose to make a loop to a fruit farm to go pick an apple instead!
I also walk more than I used to, and instead of putting things on the first step on the stairs to bring up later, I take the trip up and down everytime.

I've been doing the 10 minutes of exercise each day at work. That way when I get home if I can't fit any exercise in, I've at least hit this goal. What I do is walk up and down the stairs for 3 minutes every 2 hours. In an 8 hour work day I do this 3 to 4 times and that gets me right at the 10 minutes. So far it has also helped me de-stress at work I can get up and get the blood pumping instead of being chained to the desk. The 3 minutes gets my heart pumping, but I don't really get sweaty so it's just right since I have to get back to work. So far I've also been able to do another 30 minutes of cardio in the evenings as well.

Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude. - Thomas Jefferson

For those of you who do kitchen exercises or other ones you make up, are you tracking them on the tracker? If so...how do you calculate the calories? Thanks.
I'm doing some chair exercises, and walk my dog a bit.

I've been walking an extra block or two when out about town running errands this week, also doing extra flights of stairs whenever I get a chance. Already do many of the things that were suggested such as washing dishes, house cleaning, wearing a pedometer, and parking further from stores. The challenge is going good for me, I've missed just one day in the 2 weeks and that was because I had fallen down and wasn't feeling good the rest of the day. Got right back to it the next day, though.

I walk the cutest dog EVAH! for at least 10 minutes each day. I also love Coach Nicole's 10 minute videos. If the weather is lousy, I still get my 10 minutes in.

I am doing smaller stuff as my ten minutes for the challenge. Since I just started a new work out and can only do it once every three since they want two days of rest from it, it leaves you very sore at first. So my ten is maybe not creative but at least it is done, I will do some of my walking dvd about 30 mins, but since I am so sore I only do about ten. I am also cleaning more and being I don't know the word but putting more power behind it.

I continue to do my 10 min Kitchen exercises and enjoy them, can do something different everyday. You just have to think, like arm curls with that pan before I put it in the cubboard.

is going to lose some weight in Sept., even if it is just a pound. Ten pounds at a time.

I downloaded the calendar and found that I already do/have done about half to two-thirds of the activities on there. I have been doing well (I think) with maintaining a 10-minute minimum of exercise in the morning. I am not sure how I can be more creative with workout.

1. I have exercised (stretched) while in the shower.
2. I dance while I clean (which is not often as my husband does most of the cleaning). I have also washed dishes by hand (we do not have a dishwasher). This is the only way I clean.
3. I generally park as far from the store as I can get.
4. I have a garden.
5. I (and my husband) build our own custom furniture.
6. I did try to where a pedometer but it was so cheap that it failed to keep accurate step counts. I do plan to purchase the Spark, though.
7. My dryer broke last winter/this spring so I hang dry all my laundry (my husband does the washing).
8. My children walk with me when I walk on Saturdays and do Yoga with me on Sundays.
9. When I go shopping, I usually end up pushing two carts through the store (I go once a month).

My problem, I suppose, is that I really eat too much and do not keep track of or do often enough these exercises. I am trying to get better and really watch what (and how much) I eat. Can anyone help me figure out a creative exercise I could do daily?

Edit: This is obviously not a complete list, just the ones that I do most often.

There was no sneak attack, for me I had to charge head on. My husband bought me gloves and strike bag this week so now I'm kickin it's butt 5 days a week ranging from 30-50 mins plus Coach Nicoles Cardio kickboxing (twice a day). So I'm averaging 50-70 mins a day 5 days a week. I'm excited, I finally found something I'm good at and like!

Last week for the "Week 2", I did the 15 minute desk workout on 3 days. I also had some long conference calls last week. I muted my speaker and did some core exercises in my office during the conference calls.

I feel bad for you. Work throws off my workout schedule, eating plan, and sleep habits. This year I decided to create a new plan so I don't let it affect me as much. I think the hardest thing for me is the loss of time during my commute. I plan on going to the YMCA more this year. I used to have an after work schedule, so I am trying to reestablish that. Have a great work week!

This week is going to be extremely difficult because I am working three 8a-8p shifts, then 9-6 two days and working Saturday! My main goal is to fit my 10 minutes/day in at work throughout the week and STAY MOTIVATED!

I laughed out loud over the squats in the bathroom stall!!! A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! Love it!

I read through the activity calendar for tips. I car pool to work. I walk the perimeter of the office every hour, doing some squats, wall push ups, lunges in the bathroom stall. I go for a short walk before each meal. I have my water aerobics class this evening. I limited my TV to one episode, and did the dishes by hand.

My plan for week two:
Walk for 20 minutes before each meal.
Water aerobics for 90 minutes, 4 x this week.
I've also started doing short, simple exercises every time I go to the bathroom. Since this happens often throughout the day I get in several sets of squats, wall pushups,
