Good plan, Pickle! I plan for a few days but planning out a week is really a great way of getting control.

I make a weekly menu. That way I know what I am eating for the next week and it make grocery shopping much easier too. I add in two snacks a day. One after my morning workout and one when I get the drags about 8:30 to 9:0 0 P.M.

Staying within the calorie range is tough. Don't scald yourself for going over - just try staying within the next day.

I can also agree that making sure those calories stay within the range will push those scale numbers down...eventually!

Good luck you guys!! You can do it! When I find myself stressed at work, I take a moment to refocus on what is important. Not that work is not important but a healthy me has taken a higher priority.

Hope this may help.

I am COMPLETELY the same way. I've been working out just fine. But I've gone over my calorie count everyday. I know that's the reason the scale isn't budging. I hope you push through and find a way!

I agree with Picklemire. Trying preparing some extra meals on the weekends to help during this stressful time. Even if you pack the leftovers for lunch it will help. emoticon on the exerises.

Katy, can you make all meals and snack on the weekend? If you can do that it takes a lot of stress out of the day to day grind. I saw the kids in your picture. Have them help with bagging snacks or food ideas. Hope this helps with the calorie part. Woohoo on the exercise. emoticon

Congratulations on the exercise goals! That is nothing to sneeze at. I find exercise is the hardest part of plan though, (I would sit like a lump on a log if I could, I think.) so I really admire the people that can fit so much in so readily! Way to Go!

Not doing too well with the first one of keeping my calories within my range. Doing great with the other two: run three times a week and tone three times a week.

It's proving difficult to eat well while I'm so busy and stressed at work. Need to refocus and keep my healthy eating habits top priority. After all, it will help with the stress anyway, right? Gah, it's harder when I'm in the moment...
