AAHHH! I LOVE pop! My husband bought me a 2 Liter of Cherry Coke yesterday (my fave), and I was super proud of myself because I didn't drink a ton. I had 10 OZ after supper in the evening when I could sip and enjoy it. But I told him, "Don't ever do that again!" LOL. He drank the rest of the pop for me, and took some to work this morning.

I think those who give up soda cold turkey and really STICK to it are brave and they have great self control. I'm in the camp that believes in moderation with it. I'll be happy to get 10 oz of soda every two weeks. I don't think that will be bad. :) Keep up the good work!

I was never much of a soda drinker, but I had to give up coffee. I like water, but even with it sitting in front of me, I just can't seem to get it down. SO I started adding Drink mix. Hansen's (sold at Grocery stores in the health food setion) and Archer Farms (sold at Target) make drink mixes without sugar substitutes; they use stevia. I really don't want something really sweet, so I use only half the packet in my water. It makes getting 8 cups of water down a lot easier for me.

Great decision. I have given up diet pop. It gives me terrible headaches, SO NOT worth it.

It is hard, but you can do it. I gave up coke about a year ago and doing really well. I still have one every couple of months, but only one and then go back to water and ice tea. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Today I have decided to stop drinking cokes. I have been drinking at least 6 per day and I know this is un healthy. I have celiac disease and fibromyalgia so I am going to fight back by exercising and getting healthy! emoticon

Determined to never drink cokes again! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!!!!
