Got up and moved today... took my pomeranian for a 20 min walk around the neighborhood. She's is bad shape too. Good for both of us! emoticon

I'm new, too. I've been doing well with diet, stress, and sleep. But I'm not exercising. So I joined this to get me started. I will go out after this post and walk for 20 minutes with my dog in the woods. WooHoo!

Hello everyone! I rejoined this challenge so that I can rebuild my motivation. I have been a member of SP for several years but really didn't get into it until this year. I was doing well. I had lost 21 pounds, then life got in the way and I completely lost all motivation. I have regained 6 pounds and I am now beginning to feel terrible, achy, and my arthritis is acting up...all because I stopped working out. I have to start taking better care of myself! The only way I can do that is to get my motivation back!! I am hoping that this challenge will help me.

Today I did 10 mins of the Pussycat Doll's workout. I was planning to do more, but I really didn't like it. So I squeaked out 10 mins and quit. Hoping to do better tomorrow!

The thing is, you can lay in bed and say "oh I don't want to work out today" but really 10 minutes? Not that hard to pull off. I promised my dog those 10 minutes and we almost always stay out there for 20 or more. I love this challenge.

I had read the book "The Spark" and I liked the idea of the 10 minute streak. I wanted a streak and after I started it, I didn't want to stop. I wanted to get one stage done which was conquering exercise and now I am trying to conquer nutrition. You can either continue your streak and succeed or stop and be defeated. I choose succeed and I know you will to. Just do it.

You can do it. Today I have done it for over 106 days straight. I started with 20 minutes on my treadmill. I had to break it up 2 x's 10 minutes. I started on July 4 and am up to 45 minutes twice a day except sometimes on the weekend. Believe in yourself...........I believe in you, now get that streak going!

This is a challenge I know I can do. 10 minutes is not long. I am not sure what the rest of the challenge is, as I have not read that far ahead, but I hope to find the support I need to be consistent. This is the biggest problem I have is giving up too quickly. This time I am determined not to let that happen.
