10/10: 30 minutes walk/jog interval. 2.03 miles with a 14:47 pace. Sweet!
Thanks for the encouragement! I'm definitely bringing workout clothes tomorrow because running at 6pm is pushing dusk. I'm a college professor and I would love to use the awesome gym, but it's always packed!
Take Shape for Life changed my life! I'm 105 pounds lighter and now paying it forward as a Health Coach.

PHDCOW; I walk 3 times a day at work. I either wear my black walking shoes or bring them with me. I walk twice a day on my 15 minute breaks and again on my 30 minute lunch break (then eat my lunch at my desk). I try to walk at a brisk walk, but not enough to sweat, because I don't bring extra clothes with me, and I can get in most of my 13,000 steps for the day.
Keep working and pushing and you will find it easier everyday.

Hi JANEA56. If you have 10 minutes to read the boards here at sparkpeople, you have 10 minutes for exercise. The hardest part is starting. After that it goes so quickly you will be shocked. What about exercising during the ad breaks when you're watching tv. It all adds up.
