HI EVERYONE. THIS MORNING BEFORE I WENT TO BED I DANCED FOR 30 MIN WITH RICHARD SIMMONS DANCE TO THE SIXTY'S DVD #2. THEN I WENT TO BED AND SLEPT WELL WOKE UP FEELING GREAT. STARTING TO GET RID OF THE SORENESS...STILL GET WINDED REALLY FAST.

Remember that although our goal is to lose weight, the method we are choosing is not really a diet but more of a modification of our lifestyles. If we can develop the habits to eat healthier and in moderation and the habits of physical activity each day then we are preparing ourselves for life long success. This will take some time. I do not think I will have all of my habits firmly in place for many more months to come. But I am improving. For every one step back I am taking two steps forward. You can do this too. Keep it up!

Congratulations! The first step is always the hardest! 10 minutes is a great start. Just commit to that for now and work your way up! I know what it is like to begin. My heaviest was 376 pounds. I now weigh 260 pounds. It has taken about 18 months to lose over 100 pounds. I made up my mind to lose it slowly so that it will stay off. I do mess up, and I do allow myself some treats here and there. The biggest thing for me was that when I do mess up, I do not beat myself up. I get back on it the next day. One day at a time! One day at a time! You can do it!
Well I have been a member of the group for about 2 wks now and I am just starting today...hey better late than never!!! So my goals this week is to walk at least 10mins and if I do more than good for me. I am hoping to build up my endurance enough so that I may start running one day (further away goal). Already today I have walked for 10min on my first break at work and feel good about it! May go for the second break as well. I am weighing today at 339.6 lbs and I am needing to loose alot of weight...I have been down this road before and hoping that I will stick with it this time. It's hard to find a diet that it right for me, so I am eating healthier and counting my calories so we will see where this goes (also a good thing that my husband has decided to eat healthier as well makes things easier!). So motivation will be appreciated! Thanks for letting me get this out there!
