Hi, I want this to motivate me to do some exercise, anything. I have been walking two miles a day, my weight loss had stalled, after losing 14 lbs. before I joined Spark last week. I am the same weight everyday, I go to Disney parks, walk for three hours and nothing, even though I have kept a journal of every morsel eaten (1200 calories). I am 65 yrs. and really angry at myself for not addressing this fat problem while I was young. Anyway, after a couple of days of giving up, I am back on track and I will survive this, with a smile on my face.

I have not been moving at all for a while. This challenge is to get me moving, 10 minutes at a time. IMy goal is to do at least 10 minutes of walking, with or without my walker, every day.

I have been very inconsistent with exercise so my goal for this challenge is to complete at least 10 minutes daily. I believe this will get me into the habit and get me back on track! We are starting a new challenge at work and the goal is to get 10000 steps a day in for 100 days. I know I can do this if I can stay motivated.. so here I am!

By the end of 4 weeks, I will be making sure to do at least 10 minutes of activity daily using the 10 minutes as only a minimum on very busy days. Also, I want to kick my weight loss back into gear. I've been sliding over the summer and need to start moving down again. I need to start tracking my food daily again. emoticon

By the end of 4 weeks, my goal is to be consistently exercising every day. I'm recovery from an injury and I think I've been afraid to try anything for fear that I'll reinjure myself. I tend to be the type to go all out the first day of exercise and then pay for it. So, I'm using this challenge to help me ease back into it day by day so I can slowly build up strength.

Tracking food daily: stay within calorie and sodium limits.
Exercise for at least 10 min. /day. Plan to take longer walks daily, but will commit to the 10 min. even if I have to jog in place before going to bed emoticon

For the last 3+ weeks, I have gotten into the habit of tracking my food every day, no matter what. The next habit I want to really focus on is exercise. The hardest part is starting! I don't know why...I think I am afraid to see how out-of-shape I am. Anyway, my goal is just what the name of this team is all about: 10 minutes of exercise every day!

I am starting my 10 minute of daily exercise today. I have been working long hours and have made every excuse not to exercise it is time to change that habit. I also am trying to reduce my carbs. Blood sugars are getting higher everyday. Ready for a healthy change!

Hired a personal trainer today. Starting tomorrow I will work with her 45 minutes Mon - Fri. I'm also going to try to get 7000 steps on my tracker each day. These are my goals for the next 4 weeks.

I have been over weight all my life but recently gained another 10lbs. Doesn't sound like much but when you are almost 60 years old and are 5'1" and weigh 180lbs that's a lot. Nothing I have done lately has worked. Not sure if its because of the age thing or because I also recently came off antidepressants. What ever the cause it has to stop and stop now. My goal is to be consistent with 10 minutes exercise in the morning and the evening. Decrease my intake of fat. Increase my servings of vegetables to at least 4 per day.

I would like to lose 20-25 pounds, finally. I fight with the same 10 pounds and it's winning right now. I got out of the workout routine due to a back injury. I have to get back into it slowly so this 10 minutes a day is a challenge I can do and with the Activity Tracker it motivates me.

Good day all, when it comes to walking I prefer not to. But I had to walk him from my doctors appointment yesterday. Never realized how good it would feel. I walked 13251 steps yesterday. I'm glad I found my pedometer. emoticon

I exercise using a stationary bike. I try to do 30-40 minutes, but there are about 3 days a week I don't do anything. So I'm thinking even if it isn't at my preferred time, I could always squeeze in 10 minutes. I am too much all or nothing. Going to give it a try.

My A1C is 7.7 so I want to exercise to see if we can't get that down. There are other options too but I want to try this out. I usually go to Walmart and walk around hanging onto a cart. I had hip replacement surgery last September. It's starting to bother me a little bit. I see the surgeon the 23rd. Eventually my left hip will have to be replaced but not right away. I have DJD (Degenerative Joint Disease) so I have arthritis all over my body. I try to keep moving. I like the statement "A body at rest, stays at rest, but a body in motion stays in motion.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August and am currently going through chemo. My goal is 10 minutes of some kind of exercise every day, even on the days I feel really bad. I think the daily movement helps keep my body is healing and repair mode.

Hit my goal weight 9/16/11 and aim to remain there for good!

went to a 3rd water exercise class tonight. Walked 7000 steps today. Feels good but my knee is killing me.

went for my water classes this morning. The Y has a deep water conditioning swim class it says you can burn 500 plus calories. Going to try it tonight. Enjoy the pool. I dislike walking but trying everyday to add steps. Good luck all.

Today I finally got my Spark Fitness tracker to work. I did 20 laps at the pool today too. I am so happy that the tracker is finally working. I bought it over a month ago and my internet security program kept blocking it.

I am starting this challenge today. Even though it's 12:30 am my goal today will be 10 minutes (or more) of housecleaning. I want to clean out the clutter by taking all of my back issues of magazines to take to the hospital.

I was so upset that I lost my pedometer but i found it in my car after saying a prayer to St. Anthony. Now I can continue monitoring. Walked 20 minutes today. Tomorrow is swim day and physical therapy

I started the 10+ min challenge yesterday. My main goal is to become healthier and physically fit. This is day 2 emoticon

i try to walk for 10 minutes a day. Yesterday I did my 2 water exercise classes for 75 minutes plus walked 2500 steps. Lost my pedometer yesterday. Really stinks. Hope to find a new one. have a good day all.

I joined because I have at least 10 minutes a day that I can use to make myself healthier. My goal is to do at least 10 minutes of consistent exercise and some small sets of other exercises a day.

I have just read the mini book and it is awesome. I have been a member of sparks for 3 years but lately I am at a plateau. I work out consistently and track my food but nothing is happening. I will continue my routine and make sure I get 10 minutes in everyday (although I usually get in 5 days of more) but I will incorporate the 10 minutes a day to see if that helps.

My goal is 60,000 steps this week. I will do at least a 10 min workout in addition to this and m9ost days a 30 minute power walk DVD. There are just so many opportunities and ways to stay fit!

GOOD MORNING well its 6;30 and I getting ready to hit the gym for my morning swim classes. I try to work everyday but having a hard time getting in 10,000 steps. I can get 2000,-2500 in. Maybe ill start mall walking again. My husband and I use to mall walk but everything has changed in my life. I read these messages. What is this mini book people are talking about? I am also here because of Spark Guy's mini-book! I think I do exercise every day, but then find I've missed several days! So - this is my commitment to do at least 10 mins EVERY DAY. I usually do a core workout one day + legs, then an upper body workout the next; I walk every day but don't usually track it; I need more cardio, so I am starting to go swimming at least once a week.

I read the minibook. I have been exercising for the past year, but not always daily. I will do at least 10 min. per day. I am swimming for about 90 min. 3 days a week, but I will commit to the 10 min. on the off days.

I finished the mini-book and I am totally inspired. I believe that am going to stick to this challenge. There is no excuse for me not to find 10 minutes a day to devote to my health (and my family's). So I made 3 goals.

My first goal for this week is to do 10 minutes of excersise with my 6 year old daughter each day either in the morning before drop off or at night after dinner.

Goal 2= hang up our Chalkboard Goal Center (fancy name for the chalk decal I got for my birthday this week) and to keep track of our streak on it.

Goal 3= Purchase myseld (ME - NOT MY DAUGHTER) new sneakers on Wednesday. She has 4 new pairs and all of my sneakers are at least 4 years old - seriously? We can do this.

My goal is to start and maintain a regular exercise schedule. This will begin with 10 minutes exercise streak challenge and will also include 15 minutes of strength training 3x a week.

Nothing changes if nothing changes.
