I've been exercising about 4 days a week. I'm committing to a daily 10 minute fitness burst. It may be 10 minutes of stretching, this will count! I'm aiming for balance, cardio, strength, and flexibility. I want to be strong! 👍

I'm new to these streaks... but it sounds like a brilliant way to stay accountable! I actually started 2 challenges today. This one, and the "stress busting" challenge. My goal for this challenge is to exercise at least 30 minutes, 7 days a week. No matter how it's broken up that day... just get it in!

Yesterday I almost didn't walk because I felt lazy but I did it anyways and after 20 mins in, I pushed myself to go another 10 mins and I'm so glad I did. Also got over 5000 steps (5279) for the day (most of it from walking). I need to be more active instead of sitting for long periods of time. Day 5 here I come!

I have set a goal to be active for at least 10 sustained minutes per day for 100 days. Today is day #2. By doing this I expect that being more active will be a habit by the end of the 100 days. I also expect that I will often do more than 10 minutes per day.

I had been on a good exercise streak until a month ago when I ended up on crutches for a knee-muscle sprain. I did 10 minutes of abs and arms today. Working to get back to exercising at least 10 minutes a day--even if I can't do anything to strain that knee muscle.

My first day at restarting this challenge was tough but with encouragement I ended up walking 27 mins.

Today I came here to read the wall posts for motivation and ended up walking 31 mins. Another challenge is to log in at least 5000 steps a day. Yesterday I got less than 3900 and today more than 4100 so far and I have the rest of the afternoon and this evening to make my goal.

I CAN DO IT!

My goal is to walk at least 10 minutes a day for 7 days.
Already got in a 15 minute walk with my dog, Libby, this morning and would like to walk 2 more times today (at least 10 minutes each time).
Just trying to keep things simple so that I can be consistent, then I can build from there.

I had been logging into SparkCoach every day for the past week or so to help motivate myself.
Now I am starting at the beginning again of SparkCoach Diet program again.

Back again :) Joined back when this was Living Strong, did really well and then went on vacation. Never really came back after vacation, but did okay until I broke my ankle. Then all hell (or should I say fat) broke loose. Now I'm back, bigger than ever, but I'm gonna get it right this time. My goals here are to exercise, not just for 10 minutes, but for at least 45 minutes each weekday. I signed up for water aerobics at the YMCA 3 days a week and that's an hour, plus I've been doing the circuit training with either a stationary bike or treadmill warm up which adds up to 45 - an hour on the other weekdays. Weekends will be difficult, but I will do my best to get in at least a 10 minute session, even if its just a walk around my property. My #1 goal right now is to be down 2 sizes by mid June, I'm already 1/2 size down since the end of March with almost no exercise, so I truly believe I can do this!

I'm want to get back on track with exercise. My weight was steadily going up until I started watching my portions and journaling what I ate. I've lost 10 pounds but haven't been able to get into an exercise routine. My goal is to start with 10 minutes a day and go from there, with help from this team.

I joined the team because when I joined the site, one of my goals was 10 min of exercise a day and this seemed to line up with it.
Starting off with a focus on pilates, yoga and walking as my target activities. I want to do 10 min of at least one each day, even if it is only an excuse to get out of bed.

K=Mart, Thank you for posting! I love to see where others are. I am actually... beginning ...to start thinking about what you are doing when I get the last 30 pounds off. I LOVE reading about some one else accepting that challenge. Keep up the good work!

Greetings to the Team. I was a hider...I joined the team months ago. I have achieved my 10 min per day walking the dog. It was already a habit but now I take credit for it. Its exercise. I have lost 54 pounds and I will not take them back! I now am going to count small bursts of exercise I have already started to add daily, especially upper body because I got a fair amount of toning to do. This is my challenge, to do the toning. My second goal is to quit debating about actually going to Planet Fitness because I joined but went out of state a few months to help family. I know this is essential to getting me to the finish line. I have lost 50+. I have 30 to go. I can now do so many things I could not do before....like get up off the floor. Now I can do it with ease and the use of my upper leg strenth. I really don't like exercise yet, but the benefits are life changing, so I am going to keep taking the baby steps until I am "there." I am close enough to goal now I am still in wonder but who cares, I gotta get to that finish line. I read about others doing exactly that and it keeps me going...one more add on until I get there. (My new mantra). Thanks for listening.

My goal for this first week is just 10 minutes a day. I can't really stand for that long, so I'm starting with the seated workout videos. My other goal is to track ALL my food. Tracking keeps me on track😃

I used to love working out between 30-60 minutes a day a few years ago. Now, I have put on a lot of weight and don't have as much time as I used to. I would like to work in at least 10 minutes of exercise every day to start a new habit forming again!

I'm training for a half-marathon in June. It's hard running outside in the Chicago-area, so I haven't been doing that much. I have 11 weeks to do this. So my goal is to do a workout a day. I'm joining this challenge to help keep me on track.

My plan is to work out at least 20-30 minutes 5 days a week, have 5 freggies a day and drink 6-8 glasses of water a day.

I will keep track on my calendar on the fridge and give my self a gold star for each successful day. I know that sounds kind of silly but it is a good reminder for me.

I aspire to get back on track so I can feel better. My weight is in a plateau, and I'm comfortable with that. However, I am not feeling well- not as good as I felt when exercise was part of my routine.
So... in order to pick that exercise habit back up, I want to exercise for 15 minutes every day. I'm used to doing more than that, but again, it's about getting back on track. :)

10-15 minutes of daily exercise is better than none!

The videos seem like they can be helpful for those quick ideas about 10 minutes. I have a timer I could use to walk around inside the house as well.

My goal Is simple- do some kind of specific exercise everyday (in other words, not just counting steps or daily activities)
It doesn't matter to me what I do or for how long, I just need to do something every day

My goal is to get back to exercising daily. I used to walk 3 miles 7 days a week, only missing if there was rain, but since I started working again I have been having a hard time making time for it. And ,lets face it, I am tired after work, so I say "Tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow." Trying to make tomorrow, TODAY!

My immediate goal is to reach a 21 day streak. Hoping that by then it will have become a habit. I would like to increase the amount of exercise time but if that does not happen, I would have developed some consistency with exercising. Deliberate exercise. emoticon

My goal is to get in 10 minutes physical activity each day of the month. This sounds easy but with life and all the challenges daily it sometimes is very difficult. So far so good!

My goal is to walk/run/cycle/weightlift/hike/jump on my trampoline for 10 minutes every day for a month. It seems easy enough, but some days I am so busy, I am sure I will find it challenging to stay consistent on my busier days. I plan to combat this by encouraging myself to take "breaks" in my work/study day and using that to walk/run/do pushups, etc in place. Haha! I am sure I will be getting creative on some days, but I will rise to the challenge!

The journey is the destination. Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
