Hello. I have to lose 15 lbs in order to get a hip replacement. But it's difficult to exercise. I am checking out the limited mobility videos. This is a great start!

My goal is to do 10 minutes of intentional exercise (treadmill, video, dancing) on the days I don't do my regular workouts and strength training. Now, I do ST 2-3 days a week and the treadmill 2-3 days. It amounts to exercise about 3-5 days. I will commit to at least 10 minutes every day of the week.

My short-term goals are to include at least 10 minutes of intentional exercise into each day for one month, and to stand up and move around at least once every hour I'm awake. My long-term goal is to gradually increase my intentional exercise to 30-45 minutes a day.

My goals are to do at least 10 minutes every day. I go to the gym 3x a week weather permitting. I live on top of a mountain and sometimes it's not safe to drive donw to the gym

I need to be more fit by May . I manage a senior center and we have senior games and staff have a lot of physical set up and take down plus all the walking etc. I have deteroriting disks in y back and hip problems.
I use the treadmill and nu-step( a cross-trainer) at the gym.

1) to lower my A1C level ever quarter this year
2) to consistently exercise 3-4 times a week for at least 10 minutes
3) to weigh less each quarter

I want to do strength training of different parts of my body each day for 10 minutes. Exercise is restricted by my doctor until I get an oxygen tank to use for my exercise induced asthma so I will monitor my oxygen levels but still work the muscles! emoticon

My challenge is to walk 10,000 steps every day. I can track my progress with my SPAT (which phases out 21 Feb.) and Fitbit Zip. Right now I am accomplishing this goal at least 6 days/week, but I would like to get to 7 days/week.

I'm feeling better today. I joined Youfit and starting tomorrow. I'm going to start out with 15 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes strength until I feel stronger which could take a few weeks.

So sorry you've been ill! I just got over a nasty bug recently. I gave myself permission to keep it simple and listen to my body...if you over-do it when your body is in a state of repair, you will take even longer to heal.

Take it one day at a time, one workout at a time.

I'm lucky in that I can make this goal by working out with my students. I've regularly had them do exercise twice a day to music that we all enjoy!

I've had this virus for three weeks, and need to get back into an exercise routine. My goals are to build up to 10 minutes of strength training 5 days a week, plus 40 minutes of aerobics 5 days a week, by the end of this week!

I have found success before with putting a star on my calendar when I work out. After a few days I don't want to break the streak! It's super simple, but it has worked for me and I plan to do it again this month to keep me motivated. :)

make a large goal but also make smaller goals to reach it. such as running a marathon in two months. make a smaller goal to practice each week. no resolutions stick unless you make small goals to reach the bigger one.one day at a time.

Starting over for this brand new year, 2017.

Goal 1: Do 10 minutes of exercise daily starting with 2 minute bursts. Work up to 5 minute bursts, then 10 minute bursts as stamina increases by end of January.

Goal 2: Use my new Best Planner Ever to plan and track my exercises, meals, appointments, and tasks every day. Plan a month at a time for my business goals and a week at a time for my health/fitness goals.

I still have to be careful with what I eat. Iwhen I make a call on my cell phone I walk around the store at lunch. That takes 10 minutes. We also have stairs so I can go upstairs and walk around. Barr's is a big store so I can get walking in even when iit is raining outside.

My goal is to exercise for 10 minutes a day for the next week. I will include the exercises my PT gave me to do after my hip replacement several years ago. I have been very lax in doing them and I can feel the difference.

My goals is to stay healthy so 3 days out the week will walk 10 mins after lunch. Thereafter will walk 20 to 30 mins. I enjoy walking it clears up the mind.
