Hey Michelle -- when we talked this morning I told you I wanted to hike tomorrow, but it looks like I may not be able to as Justin's team won their tournament games today and will have to play again tomorrow. Sigh, I think I just need to find a babysitter - I've always just relied on my oldest, but now with his social/sports schedule, it's just getting too difficult. Next week is the last weekend of flag football - yippee! :)
Yay hiking! I'll be there although I'd prefer a 12:30 or later start time. I'm up for carpooling and since driving involves going up a mountain it would probably be better if I didn't drive. For meeting places I would suggest one of the CU parking lots (there are some free ones on the weekend see http://ucbparking.colorado.edu/Maps/Images
This would be super easy for me and it's pretty close to where we're going.
Can't wait for the hike!
There was a request to schedule a hike for next Sunday. I have chosen Green Mountain. It is 3.3 miles round trip with an elevation gain of approximately 1400 feet. This is a moderate rated trail.
The trail head is at the top of Flagstaff, outside the fee area. Due to parking, we should probably carpool up there. I would like everyone to feel free to bring their families. I know my husband would personally like to join us for this one. I am thinking sometime between 11 and 12 noon for a starting time, but am not set on that. Input on time, meeting places, carpooling etc. Plus if you are interested in joining us!!
Every day is a new day. Don't regret the past or you won't be able to go forward today.
