When I look in the mirror and see how much better I look 29 lbs. lighter, it motivates me. It reminds me that I CAN do it because I HAVE DONE it.

I realize that this journey is only as difficult as I make it, and I'm motivated in the knowledge that on this planet, I'm in charge of what happens to my body. If I eat healthy foods and move my body, I achieve positive results. If I don't, I don't.

My good cholesterol number has increased from 40 to 66 because of the choices I've made to become fit.

Your input motivates me also so keep on posting.

Today, when I was dragging my tail about getting up and doing what I needed to do, I realized that my doggies inspire me.
They clamor to go outside, to be petted, to be fed, etc. They demonstrate absolute joy, basking 'in the moment' and taking advantage of all that's available to them.
I am learning to surrender myself to their experience and THAT's a great meditation I can enjoy AT LEAST three times a day.

I'm newly inspired by some major health concerns these days - stress level from abuse at work has shot up my BP over 60 points and my bones are weaker than ever -- in spite of what I've been doing so far (calcium, vit D, lots of walking) so all I can think of is doing more of the same. My oncologist will take blood next FR to check if I'm having thyroid problems, hopefully NOT cancer again. I know God loves me dearly, wish fewer challenges were thrown my way.

My son is my biggest motivator. This week he told me that Mommy you can run so fast! That was big for me because I haven't raced with my some in almost two years. emoticon

For me it's playing with my two dogs, their joy of living in the moment is contagious); taking long walks (moving meditations are better for me than trying to sit still; pulling out my 'gratitude bag' that's filled with happy pix, inspirational verses, friends contact info.
