Ooo...I'm with you on that! I can just picture it. emoticon I could stand to have some new clothes that better fit my new figure too.

My dream treat as soon as I get our debts paid off is to quit my job and go with my husband on his long haul driving job all over the country. I'm hoping to be able to do that in 3 years. (I hope! I hope! I hope!)

I started SP at 138 lbs in October 2010. My goal weight was supposed to be 125, which I reached in January 2011. Now I'm just trying to keep my weight up so I don't hit the bottom of my BMI which is 104 lbs. My maintenance range is 110 to 120.

Thinking about 'dream treats' is fun!

Some time ago (3 years? 4?), I decided that I would buy myself a Red Dress...when I felt I was ready for that reward. No pound-reached number or other criteria sits on this particular reward: it is my dream treat. Actually, it has been a dream treat since around 1977! That was when I passed a store in my town and saw a red dress in every window on the corner-lot store. About 15-20 red dresses; sun dresses, casual dresses, long ones, short ones, sexy formal ones, prim-and-proper ones. LOTS of lovely diversity...all in attention-getting, cheerful red! Right now I feel I'm about ready for the red dress. Finding one may prove to be a journey of its own kind.

My wardrobe is limited and historically speaking I'm a crazy size whether I'm an 18W or a 3 jr pt. My parts just need a tailor if that red dress of my dreams is to look truly NICE. So that is a key component in my dream. At least one red dress (possibly TWO)... and a seamstress or tailor's help in making that dress actually fit me, so that I do not look like I bought the size that fit a part of me and hoped no one would see the other half doesn't fit. How nice it would be to have a dress that fit on the hips but didn't have the shoulder seam six inches down the arm from the shoulder.

Now if I were to have the $1,000 shopping spree? Goodness, and shhhhh!!
Where else would a gal start but the very basics?!? Indeed, everything would look better if worn atop underwear that actually FITS. And how I'd love to know that what doesn't show of the clothes I wear is better described as girlie-girl sexy.... instead of my having to admit I'm 'functionally clad' in saggy drawers!

Red dress, glorious undergarments.... that fit! What a grand start to My New Look!
