I plan to treat myself in many ways. I have been swaying off and on while just starting using sparkpeople's website. I love it! So much help from others and enthusiasm. Before leaving for our trip to the Oregon coast (here right now sitting in the hotel room) I treated myself to a new cd. I bargain shopped. I had $10 store credit and got the deluxe version of the compact disc so paid a little more out of pocket. I told myself if I did well when I am on the trip by actually walking the beaches and the streets I will dance and sing to this cd when I get back while doing house chores (a type of exercise I dislike doing. haha!). So now once a month I will reward with one cd to dance and sing to if I stick to my plans at least 25 percent of the time. Guess what? Half way through the trip and I have walked everywhere and felt the "burn" but loved it, breathing in the fresh coastal air. Taking pictures all the while. :)
If I can exercise for 5 minutes 3 days a week for four weeks when I get back from my trip I will treat myself to the video game "Just Dance" for Nintendo Wii. I own the second version of the game and love love love it! Execellent exercise and super fun too.
If I can keep this up for 3 months and lose a size or 2 I will go clothes shopping for the first time in forever and only buy if I am a size or 2 smaller. I want one new corset type top, even if I have to buy it used I will! I want 2 new pairs of jeans but all my jeans fit fine now so why buy? Save money and spend later if these current ones become a little loose.
With my new diagnosis of Fibromyalgia I must start slow and need to work out a better workout routine with my Fibromyalgia doctor and get in with a dietician. So after each appointment (I dread doctors) I will go to the craft store and buy 2-3 yards fabric to make some baby items to sell on my Etsy store. I love crafting but don't spend much money on it and want to work on selling online more. :)
