I have come so far! I've lost over 20 lbs, But my most important progress is mental. I'm learning to treat myself well & get back on track when I slip. I think that these are the skills that will help me succeed in the long run.

I'm planning to reward my next 10 Lb weight loss with some body lotion from Bath and Body works, they have the best scents. When I lose 25 Lbs. I will get myself a new outfit, When I lose 40 Lbs I will get some nice lingerie, and when I lose 60 Lbs. I will get myself more new clothes (I will need them). I am just starting out on my 28 day plan, I am into week two so I hope to get those first 10 Lbs off real soon.

I put in 10 cents every morning for every mile I walked / cycled. When I reach mini goals like 35km per week - add $1 reward. I also save $3 daily. I put all these in a glass bottle & it's very uplifting to see it daily in the morning. Will be easy on pocket drg Christmas shopping too!
For short term rewards, I get nice shower gels like those fruity ones from Body Shop! Cost $19.90 per bottle - last abt 3 months plus or if I'm short on cash, I will get Palmolive aromatherapy bath gels. Costs below $6 here. Nice to have them in bath knowing I earned it!

You know the very best treat I can give myself seems absolutely narcissistic, but it works to keep me motivated. I've lost 86 pounds after being overweight more than 50 years. My treat is to look in the mirror, I mean really look in the mirror and see what I look like. Sometimes it is at a clothing store when I buy myself something new. That's really fun. But sometimes it is just here at home, in the morning, after my shower, or after I've gotten dressed, and I take a minute to really look at myself. It still amazes and motivates me!!

My first 25 lbs. will be putt putt golf with my daughter and SP friend, Loretta. 10% (30 lbs.) is a pedicure (a gift from my daughter, she does a Great job) 40 lbs. a card party with my friends 50 lbs. is a sailboat trip that my son, Tom, is getting for me when I visit him in Oregon
Still working on other rewards for other things as well. Like when I break 5000 fitness minutes. Looking forward to seeing the other ideas from the members of the team. Before my big Lifestyle Change all my rewards were food, dinners out or special dishes to make. My life is more than food.
I plan to spend my week's visit with Tom in Oregon doing lots of fun, physical activities with eating and food being merely a side attraction.

I reward myself with beads for my Chamilia bracelet. I get a bead when I lose an increment of 10 pounds, (4 beads so far), when I walk/run a 5K, (3 beads), when I made my vision board, (1 bead), when I wrote out my goals and the steps to reach those goals,( 1 bead), when I consistently am on SP, (4 beads), and other little things. I have found cheaper beads than the jewelry store at Pugster, Biagi and Amazon online. I love my bracelet and will soon start a second. Just wearing the bracelet reminds me of my healthy journey that I have been on for 1 year now. It's a reward that I carry with me.

I have lost 67 pounds and no longer have to buy plus size clothes. I log my food and exercise every day. I try to get to the gym 3 times every week and am walking more. Use WII Fit also. I feel so much better! I am treating myself to new clothes that fit!

Sounds like a nice reward, especially at the end when you reach your goal weight. When I lose weight, my reward is a new shirt or outfit. I have a "goal" outfit hanging in my closet. When I need to get motivated, then I look at that outfit. My goals are for health reasons, however. I had back surgery in February. I am on the mend now and am looking forward to being active again...!

I have been rewarding myself with all kinds of different things along the way. My next reward is for my 1/2 coming up. A Garmin watch! Can't wait...

Every ten pounds I lose I reward myself with something-pedometer, dumbbells, a new outfit, things like that. My next ten pounds will be some small dumbbells. I think when I get to my goal weight I'll have a spa day with my best friend.

I reward myself with hikes. Its kind of an upward spiral for me. The more I lose the more I want to go for walks at the botanical gardens and hikes in the mountains nearby. At some point Im going to have to reward myself with new clothes, too, though.

When I reach my goals, both weight and school, I plan to get a little more sleep! I also plan to have more stress-free days where I can spend real quality time with my baby girl without thinking about the million other things I need to get done.
