As of this momrning I finally reached my 20 pound loss so will be celebrating two things with friends today. We are going to have brunch together and I will celebrate my loss and they will be celebrating my 72nd birthday tomorrow. I don't feel or look 72 and my grandchildren say I really don't act old so to me that is only a number. I really plan on enjoying that brunch and am sure to be very, very careful.

On Friday my Spark Buddy & I are going to take a day off work. We will start the day with a quiet walk on Rails to Trails. Then we will change clothes and go to a Quilt Show at our convention center. After that it will be sushi for lunch, and then we will hang out at Starbucks, drink coffee, and knit ('n yak! ha! ha!). Then we will go to our favorite restaurant and eat a special salad that they make for us. The evening will be topped off with watching Da Sade at the theater at the local university and a special treat...a martini at the Martini bar!! Cannot wait!

I plan to treat myself with kindness and with more attention to myself. I really don't take care of myself at all. But now that I'm getting healthier, I can see results. I think I'll go get my hair done.

a treadmill. I like to use it at the gym, but with the travel time getting to the gym (especially on a rainy day), it's sometimes just a passing thought. Of course, I'll put on a walking workout video instead, but I'd like to be able to have the ability to ramp up the speed to a run or adjust the incline for hill workouts and that's not really something I can do if I'm using a walking video in the family room.
