I deserve a treat because I have been working really hard. I have been getting up at 5 am everyday for the last 6 months and working out 5 days a week.

I got out of the house by 10 AM, did my newspaper and serious topics reading for the week, took a drive, and did both cardio and abs today.

Congratulations on working through your eating disorder. That took courage and determination! If you can do that, you can do anything!

I started SP at 138 lbs in October 2010. My goal weight was supposed to be 125, which I reached in January 2011. I have stayed at 125 (give or take a few pounds) ever since.

you didn't mention exercise. and the changes you have made are GREAT!!! i think if you added exercise, something you enjoy, try it all until you find something you like right off. even if it's just walking, you might have more energy and even more success!

I just graduated college and all that time I used to spend studying I'm now learning to play the piano and to cook. Between the two, learning to cook is harder for me. My goal is to be able to wear shorts this summer without fear or embarrassment. I usually only wear pants and sometimes skirts but only with tights. I am trying to learn to cook to be healthier and slimmer. However, being a good cook and making something that I truly enjoy versus eating it because its healthy is something new to me. During my years at college I received counseling for the eating disorder bulimia and once I stopped purging I had to find ways of not gaining weight healthily while living in a dorm. I did eventually gain fifteen pounds, which to me felt like a hundred pounds, but I have be adjusting little by little and have made some progress. I have lost seven pounds the healthy way and every once in a while I can enjoy a desert with my husband without later purging. I am excited about my new lifestyle and if I win the shopping sweepstakes I am going to buy a new set of quality cookware and knives to continue on my path of healing and health.
