I keep plugging away day after day to change myself for the better. To eat healthier, be stronger and more active and take good care of my amazing body and mind. There are MANY temptations in daily life to eat badly or not take the time to workout. These temptations do derail me from time to time, but I will never give up and throw in the towel. I want to be the best me that I can be!

When I reach my first "stepping stone" goal, I am going to treat myself to a really good haircut at a posh salon. For past accomplishments, I have treated myself to a professional pedicure, a massage, and a new nail color to give myself a pedicure. Also, new workout clothes are a real boost for me. It is just more fun to workout in a cute, flattering workout outfit. My rewards are all about taking care of ME. It can be as simple as taking the time for a long, leisurely shower (rare when you have a full time job and three kids!). Taking a little extra time to shave my legs, exfoliate my skin with a yummy smelling scrub and slough the rough skin on my feet. Afterwards, I feel like I am the best that I can be physically and that helps me emotionally and mentally to feel good too.
