Great ideas! I have been trying to stop using food as a reward and try not to use food as a reward for my kids as well. I have given myself treats of super fun hula hoop classes as well as purchinsing my own hoop. It only costs $5 per class but taking the time to go is the most difficult part. If I use it as a treat for having a good strong healthy eating week, then I don't feel so guilty taking more time for myself.

To treat myself I get regular massages at the local massage school, only 20 dollars and sometimes I get a coupon for 2 for 1. I am struggling with constancy and find that when I treat myself regardless of how well I "performed" I do better.
I also plan into my diet a weekly treat from MOJO's yogurt (non-fat frozen yogurt), knowing that I will have this treat helps me say no to other less healthy alternatives. While I am learning ways to treat myself without food I find that allowing myself this and other healthy alternative keeps my on track better than avoiding food as pleasure altogether.
I also recently got into the 200's for the first time in possibly 10 years. I celebrated by buying myself some new running shoes that I had wanted for a while. When I my weight below 250 I will be going on an all day guided horseback ride. When I reach the 100's I am planning on going on a weekend trip to Sedona for spa and relaxation.

I am living with plenty of stress right now. Both my Mom & Mother-in-law have been diagnosed with dementia in the last month and I have had to place them in Nursing Homes and now must dismantle their apts and dispose of all their lifelong treasures. When I'm stressed I like to eat but I have kept my cravings in check and fought through them. I plan on destressing with a warm bubblebath every night followed by one special low fat treat! This will give me the incentive I need not to grab a bag of chips or other unhealthy food during the day....knowing I will have a nice reward at the end of the day!

I haven't picked the exact weight goals yet, but partway through, I am going to get myself a new ipod. I'll need it with all the time I'll be spendingwalking, running, and otherwise being active. When I reach a weight that finally puts me in the healthy range of BMIs, I am getting a tattoo that I've wanted for 8 years.

That said, living healthy and treating my body like I value it should be the biggest treat of all.

because I get back up and try try try try again! If you notice I get up a lot. I'm trying a couple of new rewards ( I too neglect my rewards 'cuase I give them to my kids). For the summer when I lose each month, i'm going to give myself a new shirt from a fav store. When I reach my goal by the end of summer, a new dress from a store I REALLY like their stuff but have not tried yet.

The I'll be 30 lbs away from my ultimate goal. :) Then on to new goals and rewards.

Living alone, I find it hard to keep my motivation going. It's also hard for me to reward myself. But I still keep plugging away. Consistency is my big thing right now.
