Having trouble with my sign in staying signed in today....
Had to copy my post, and repost....
Spring Challenge....
Heb 12:1... let me also lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely and let me run with endurance the race that is set before me, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of my faith,,,,,,,
According to the BMR calculator, my BMR is 1600.... I'm not sure I agree !!!
January 1, 2012
Ground zero.... 231
Exercise 10 minutes daily EVERY DAY (walk on treadmill) - well, I didn't keep this up too well, it was hit or miss!
Record calories daily stay under 1300 - mostly successful

February 1, 2012
227 - lost 4 pounds in January (didn't meet goal)
Try to get on treadmill daily - not very successful at this
Record calories daily -- stay under 1000 - about half of the time
I averaged 1000 calories, some days lower, some days higher,

March 1
220 - lost 7 pounds in February (didn't meet goal)
So total lost is 11 pounds as of March 1st... since the beginning of the year
Continue Exercise daily - treadmill - try to do at least 30 min or 2 miles (I walk 4 mph-according to my treadmill)
Record calories daily stay under 1100 and preferably below 1000.

emoticon it's going SO SO SO SO slow....

April 1
so far have lost 6 pounds in March. and thankfully March isn't over :o)
.. so much slower than I wanted
So my TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS SINCE 1-1-12 IS 17 POUNDS..... AS OF TODAY

So, I'll stop here and join in the next challenge

2/13 - lost 1/2#
2/20 - Drats! Forgot to weigh yesterday. So I'll have to post a 2 week WI next week.
2/27 - stayed the same. I'll have to really step it up to lose 10# by 3/20

= down .5# as of 2/27. That's pathetic.

Well, we fell softly into winter, and now it's time for a brand new seasonal weight loss challenge! Let's start "Losin' it 'til SPRING! This challenge will start next Monday, January 2! It will run through the first day of Spring, March 20.

It's easy and fun. The rules are like the others. This is all you have to do:

I. Sign up, by making a post that you will update every week, or month, as you choose.

2. Commit to how much weight you would like to lose by March 20, the first day of Spring.

3. Include your first name...makes it more personal and fun.

4. Be sure to sign in weekly and post your loss/ gain status in this thread. Please use your original post. If we all make new ones every week, this will get terribly long. In case you don't know how to easily locate your original post, here is all you do:

1, Click CTRL/F.

2. In the search line that opens up, type your sparkID. That should take you to your post. If you have made more posts in the thread, keep hitting "next" on the search line until you get to the right post.

Let us know how you are doing. Remember - we are all here to provide praise, encouragement, inspiration, motivation, and support for one another, so share your progress, pitfalls, and ideas. I'll make another topic in this same forum for those chat issues that come up, to keep this one from getting too long. You'll have to click "see more topics" to find it. It will be called "Losin' it 'til SPRING Chat"

We'll work on other issues, such as exercise, tracking, etc., in our other challenges along the way, to help us reach these goals.
