of course you needed to be with your father at such a time! It's such a worry when illness strikes an older . Received the fabric and was quite excited to see all the pretty squares. I had already purchased some charm squares and fat quarters, and with the suares added to my stash I was able to start a new quilt that I had been wanting to do that was featured on the cover of the February American Patchwork & Quilting. I've been working on it steadily, but I'm finding it difficult although I'm learning a lot. Each square has 24 pieces in it, and has lots of seams and points to line up. I don't think I've done one square yet that hasn't had to be taken out and redone several times. I plan on this being my big summer project, and have a couple of less involved projects going on at the same time.When I get it done, I'll post a picture of it.

Sorry ladies...I have the fabric sorted and back in the packages and was ready to mail them. received a phone call that my Daddy had a heart atteck so I have been 12 hours away for the past month. I didn't have Internet access most of the time so have only been on here sporadically. I am planning to mail them tomorrow! Again, sorry!!!

daddy is ok, but thisnis his third heart attack he had one about 22 years ago and ended up having quadruple bypass...had another on several years ago, and then this once about a month ago. again...I am SO SORRY!!! But I Felt I needed to be with my daddy as he has several health problems and I dont know how much longer he will be with us.

again...will mail them tomorrow

Hey, Kelly,
I just read that you have been sick, but would like to know the status of our 1930's quilt swap. Haven't received any material yet. I didn't know if you had been able to get to it or not.
