I think you have to listen to your body as to what works well for you. My body aches if I try to take in fat before working out. It prefers a complex carb and some protein. Ezekiel bread (or whole wheat) and some protein work well for me. Or oat bran cooked with some protein powder. :)

I need some ideas for pre morning workout foods. I haven't been eating anything before my morning workouts and my energy level has been low. My stomach can tend to be a little sensitive in the mornings, which is why I avoid eating, but I have been told that I should eat something.
