Outside taking care of 26" of snow, and then taking 30 minutes to shake my booty to some serious dance tunes.

putting stuff away - lots of trips up and down steps between closets and the basement! :)
No regrets, just lessons learned . . .

Not sure if I'll get too much outside activity today (only 18F right now with a feel-like temp of 6F). BUT I will spend time on my Gazelle and practice my yoga INDOORS.

Mall walking (heehee) - strapping on the pedometer, and parking farther from the entrances than usual.

JLYN, what's vinyasa? That sounds interesting.
I just finished an all night walk-a-thon for Relay for a Cure benefitting cancer research. It started Friday night at 6:00pm and ended this morning at 8:00am. WOW! What a night! I walked about 14 miles total, with only about 15 minutes of sleep,so I think it's time to go find my pillow. Good night all!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Had a ridiculously active day! I ran 4 miles this morning on my fav trail, then went to a 90 minute vinyasa class (got into Shoulderstand! first time since I was about 9 years old!) and went for an afternoon hike with the hubs. SUCH a fun day, but now I'm thinking, what will I do with myself tomorrow?

I have to share this wonderful experience with my fellow FBGs. I was up early this morning, so I went on a walk before work. I live in the suburbs outside of Denver, CO. I was walking near a greenbelt that I live near, and I ran into 4 large elk, all with big velvet racks... right there in the city! It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen. This is all the motivation I need to continue my morning walks!! WOW!

I did yoga this morning and I'm planning on riding my bike tonight for 1 hour at least!!!
I just spent 2 hours cleaning out my daughter's closet and room! It was hard-core cleaning, let me tell you. She is a little pack rat! But now, I feel like I accomplished two great things-getting her room clean and getting some exercise at the same time! It was a good day!

Ran my 5K race today - so much fun! Crossing the finish line felt awesome.
MESEATURTLE - I did the C25K program and it's great. It builds so much confidence. Good luck!

I really didn't feel like going to the gym this morning, so I did a 40-minute Pilates video. Definitely better than nothing!
I got to run on the anti-gravity treadmill for 50 minutes tonight -- woohoo!

I didn't get to doing anything yesterday- but I hit the gym today, did W2D4 of C25K (repeating week 2... not so good with the running) and upper body training.

Thank you EM_ORTIZ!!!
although i'm paying the price today. the new shoes gave me a blister, so i need to pay a trip to the running store. worked through it this morning and rode the stationary bike and did my friday strength training!
I've found that if you can be active doing something healthy--for 5 minutes or 50 minutes--every single day, you set yourself up for success. How will you be active?
I'm about to go lift some weights and then take my dog on a relaxing walk around the neighborhood! How about you?
