I put the leash on my dog and we walk every day. But I also look forward to my strength training workouts and my yoga sessions. And anything that gets me outside and working around the yard is fine by me--I enjoy mowing the grass, raking leaves, and shoveling snow. Being outdoors and being physically active is revitalizing and invigorating.

Step aerobics and dancing. Step is kinda like dancing, anyway, plus I'm taking a couple of dance classes.
No regrets, just lessons learned . . .

I did a Body Pump class today. Doing Zumba tomorrow. Body Pump was hard, but I like it better than weight training on my own w/ machines. The class is structured and I like it. It's hard though.

I do enjoy outdoor activities, like hiking and snowshoeing, but they are not practical for everyday exercise. For everyday I love exercise videos. I get in some me time alone with the video while working out.

I love my Bootcamp class. I really get motivated when I am in a class with others. My gym at the office is starting a new hour long Tabata class this Friday, so I am looking forward to that.

I have two favorites. My first is walking... anywhere and everywhere. I love to just take off on an early weekend morning, and see where my feet will lead me. My second is golf. Walking the longer golf courses is definitely a challenge, but it's also very peaceful. I love it!!

I'm pretty big, so for now my primary focus is short walks, but I also do a few floor stretches & simple exercises as well when I'm at the t.v..

I love yoga, but I don't do it nearly enough. When I am crunched for time (pretty much ALWAYS), I feel like I should get a more heavy duty workout in, to make the most of my time. But I always feel great after yoga, so I really should do it more!

I like to run but I spend a lot of my time on the recumbent bike when the weather isn't cooperating.

I am a runner but I recently began doing Crossfit and it is really intense. I have only been doing it for about 3 weeks and I have noticed big differences in my muscle tone.

At the gym, the elliptical. But outside, playing sports, especially softball. :)

I love walking. I guess I should do something more intense since I'm only 22, but walking does it for me.
Spinning is becoming a favorite though.

I like the elliptical/arc-trainer, and I mix it up with walking on the treadmill at an incline with some weight-lifting thrown in. On nice days, I love going on hikes with my husband, and we used to play racquetball every so often.
Aside from running, I love to hike with my hubby, mountain bike and kayak with my dad, and do yoga. I'm looking to get into road biking - my dad is very into the sport and we have plans to ride a metric century together! Hubby wants to find a gym with a pool so we can swim, which I would love to do more as well. And I'm thinking about getting my college alumni club to start participating in a soccer or kickball league - they play softball and volleyball, which I am terrible at, but I am dying to relive my soccer glory days. I guess I have exercise ADD too, LOL!

I am a huge fan of running, but due to an injury I'm banished from running for probably three more weeks at least. I'm making due with some circuit training.
I also have to say that I LOVE strength training. It always makes me feel very strong!

Due to my schedule and budget, I have to do it on my own. The only equipment I have is a step bench and dumbbells. I have a massive collection of workout DVD's, the majority of which are The FIRM. I alternate cardio with circuit training 5-6 times a week.

I'm a big group fitness girl - I joined a gym that I think is too expensive (though I can afford it) just because they have the best classes, the ones I want to go to. And I like to dance, so my favorite classes are choreostep, Zumba, and the hip hop class. I also enjoy water aerobics (my feet and ankles are pretty jacked up, so lightening the pressure is good for them) and yoga, and when it's nice outside I love to go for a walk, with or without husband and dog.

I currently in love with running. I exercise regularly and rotate between running, spinning and some Jillian Michael's exercise videos. However my favorite type of exercise is the accidental type of exercise. Like working outdoors or on a diy project and realizing your sweating bullets.

there is something so peaceful and liberating about walking/running outside. while i'm trying to get better at running, i love being away from the phone, computer, etc. for that time outside!
I love dancing! I majored in Theater and Dance in college, and while I'm a lot heavier now, I still love to dance in private. My ballet and belly dancing DVDs are my favorites.

Just got the BodyLastics resistance band system delivered today, had the first workout, and it's fantastic! Not manly as such, it's not made of iron, but I don't care! And my mum has finally agreed to work out with me with them, so bonus! Should help her early stage osteoporosis.
Walking. It's probably my biggest calorie burner. I walk to and from work most days, if I'm not cycling. That's 7 miles a day, plus occasional walks at lunchtime too. Weekends had the odd 10-miler as well. Can't really run yet, which would burn even more calories, but I like the fact that my calorie output allows me to eat realistic amounts of food and still lose weight - 48.5 lbs thus far this year.....
Since I'm recovering from a running injury (fitbottomedgirls.com/2010/03/broken-bottom ed-girl/), I can't do my favorite exercise, which is to run. Darn! But I am finding walks with the dog and weight-lifting to be very enjoyable. I also love to play tennis, hit spin class and Zumba! What about you?
