Instead of worrying about what I eat, I am more concerned with how much I eat. If I think an item is totally taboo, I will want it even more. If a portion size is 1 cup, I only eat 1/2 cup, or even 1/4 cup. I also do this with healthier foods that are high in calories, such as nuts or fish. The Omega 3 fats are good for you, but a full portion can push the calorie count too high for the day.
