*What is the number one trigger that sends Me to the foody dark side?: I would have to say chips. Once I start, I can't stop and then I crave them for days.

**What can I do to offset the road to the dark side?: Skip them all together. Don't buy them and don't indulge when out.


***What has been my biggest derailer that sends me AWAY from my healthy program and our Spark OW Challenge? My angst when things arent going in the right direction.

****What can I do to offset or curtail that derailer once I identify it?: I'm tired of things not moving so right now I am not really sure.

*****What can the team do to help or support you on the above two things*****: Read my blogs when I post. Cheer me on when things are going well and support me when they aren't.


Things to focus on for March:

emoticon Strength training
emoticon Get in to the DR about BP pills emoticon
emoticon Work on averaging more than 3000 steps per day.

April, I didn't really set any goals except to increase my average step count and work on not eating fried foods. Though I honestly feel I ate less fried foods when I wasn't working on eliminating them.

Goals for May:
emoticon Increase average step count to 5,000 steps per day--Nope
emoticon Eliminate wheat products whenever possible. --I gave up on this, not sure why
emoticon Work on setting up a vegetable garden and improving the front landscaping- We are just about finished with the front yard work. We need to plant some flowers in our box and decided on what we want to plant in the hole we have. We are waiting on the grass seed to sprout to see if it needs to be filled in some more.

June Goals:
emoticon Try 1 new recipe a week as I have really been slacking on this lately

emoticon Do 2 things out of my comfort zone this month-1 done

emoticon Get veggies started in yard

emoticon Make appointment to see same or new specialist for leg-- Delayed until we have new insurance information.

emoticon Complete A Book Club's monthly challenge-- Earned points everyday so far

*What is the number one trigger that sends Me to the foody dark side?:
After several challenges this month, I can now definitely answer this... Mom is a big trigger for me. Comments she makes sends me back to being a teenager and the days of hiding food and rebelling by sabotaging myself. Another one is my day to day routine being out of whack and a big one is not having the right foods in the house.

**What can I do to offset the road to the dark side?:
Each and every day write down what I will eat followed by what I did eat. Make sure to make a journal entry each day on the Daily Chatter. "Stay in the chair" at WW... every week, no matter what.

***What has been my biggest derailer that sends me AWAY from my healthy program and our Spark OW Challenge? (many of us stop posting part way through and don't finish).
Being to busy and missing a meeting or a day for posting my thoughts.

****What can I do to offset or curtail that derailer once I identify it?:
Go to my WW meeting, hop on and Spark, do a workout.

SWEETS.....cookies, cakes, pie, ice cream -- I'm never happy with just one cookie, one piece of cake, one piece of pie, one bowl of ice cream.....etc,..........etc,............etc

**What can I do to offset the road to the dark side?:___________

I try to keep all this stuff out of the house unless it is a special ocasion

Once my weight soars up, I tend to stay off the computer and away from Spark People.

****What can I do to offset or curtail that derailer once I identify it?:____

Don't buy it.......if the craving is too terrible, then go to McDonalds for ONE ice cream sundae or to Subway for ONE cookie....this way I don't have at home to pig out on.

I can send encouraging emails or Spark goodies.

My goal is to get back down too 245 (I have gained 40 pounds since July) and then I'll see what I can do about getting into Onederland by 2014. My goal is just to keep losing steadily. And to keep posting on Spark People on the teams I belong to.

2013 is MY Year!

*What is the number one trigger that sends Me to the foody dark side?: I get defiant on keeping up with the daily plan. That leads to not journaling, not exercising, not posting. Then that leads to a bite here when I'm cooking, "it's ok to eat just one" at any given "special" time.

**What can I do to offset the road to the dark side?: I must be consistent with my plan. Allow myself a treat once a week but don't go over my set limits. I need to communicate when I'm feeling that way so that I can stop the back-peddling when it starts.
