This weeks weekly focus for health is a challenge. I read an article recently which listed 20 foods that are good for healthy skin. So I thought, lets try this week to eat every food on the list.

They are:

Water-done.
Green tea-makes me ill
Cantaloupe
Tomatoes-done
Berries-done-just ate some frozen ones.lol
Plums-done just ate some frozen ones,lol
Sweet Potatoes-canīt get here
Brocolli-having tomorrow
Spinach-done
Carrots-done
Low Fat Dairy-done
Omega3 Rich Fish Dishes-done
Flax Seeds-done(used it as an egg substitute in cooking)
Walnuts-done
Grapefruit-done
Oranges-done
Brussel Sprouts
Whole Wheat-done
Lean Red Meat-done
Eggs-done

Now, since we have members all over the world, alhamduillah, if you find that anything on the list is difficult to obtain in your area, or "out of season" and thus expensive, just consider yourself as having had it and cross it off.

Post your results here and isa, next Sunday, the team will award goodies to those who got the most points.

As salam alaikum sisters,

Time to post your challenge results. I managed to eat 11 on the list, 3 were eliminated, so that left 6 I didn't eat, making a grand total of 14.

So 14 out of 20. How did the rest of you make out?

as salam alaikum sister Karima,

My oversight not to mention as well to cross off any foods that one would be allergic to or are unable to consume, or as in your case, makes you sick. Thanks for bringing my attention to that. I know some people might have issues with grapefruits as they can have a negative interaction with some prescription medication. After all this should be a fun challenge, so have fun Karima just by crossing off that Green Tea and the Sweet Potatoe.

i glad you said that about foods not being in your area as i donīt think i have ever seen sweet potatoes here once,lol the rest of the list will be no problem apart from the green tea it makes me sick and no offense no goodie is worth being sick for lol.but i will do my best with the rest.love the challange maīshallah you are doing a great job.keep up the good work.
