hmmm....nuts are always good. the fat is kinda high, but it's good fat. there are also some breads (whole wheat) that are higher in calories as well. beans are also higher in calories.

I was just wondering if anyone knew any foods that would help get my calories up but wouldn't put me over on fat or sodium? Thanks.

i would suggest that you up your calories for a few days. i think you're eating way too little for how much you're exercising.

you say that you're not ever going over your MINIMUM amount of calories?? that's not good. that's probably why you gained. your body needs at least 1200 calories a day or it will go into starvation mode. what is your calorie range and how many calories do you burn in a day?

ABHIPSA20 - Carry plastic bags with low calorie foods, veggies and fruit in them. Take plenty of water with you.

i agree with crotty. for example, you could search the database for lasagna and input the amount you eat or you could search the recipes here or on sparkrecipes.com.

I think I would log them under the dish that it is. Since you don't know the ingredients in each, just pick the one that mtches the closest. I think simple!

You can buy them at the drugstore and probably Walmart. Get JOBST knee high and wear around the house or under slacks when you go out, I hope they work for you1

Your Neuopathy sounds like my sisters. I sleep through mine, mine doesn't burn. Neither of us has diabetes nor in my faily! I have had a special test done for neuropathy and it proved positive. They have had me wearing the tight knee high stockings and it really has helped me.

yep-lots of fun - my feet burn like they are on fire and then they feel like my feet have "fallen asleep" and they are "waking up" with the pins and needles. I have been to a potdiatrist and 2 pain specialist. I have taken lyrica, cymbalta, and am now suppose to try an antiseizure med. The previous meds help for a few weeks and then quit. They also play havoc with weight loss. I have had blood tests, x-rays, nerve studies and an MRI. Nothing is conclusive.

Neuropathy is usually caused by diabetes but I don't have it-yet(knock wood, pray, keep loosing weight etc.) My first pain specialist specutlated it was from loss of circulation. I have started to develop some nasty looking vericose veins. But no one knows for sure. My lack of sleep (because the pain is worse at night) is my biggest complaint. It's really frustrating and very expensive not to have any conclusive solutions. I'm not sure where to go from here. Take the new anti-seizure meds or continue to suffer knowing the damage is permanent.

I have neuropathy in my lower legs. There is no sensation in them, except pins and needles.I get in a shower and feel like I have socks on. Does anyone else have these symptoms? Your nerves die off eventually.
