I know this was posted forever ago, and I hope by now if you're able to change your goal for calories you've figured it out. However, one thing no on mentioned that I thought was worth saying is that 1200 is the minimum a woman should get in calories (normally) so that might be why you weren't able to lower it. For some people that number doesn't work in which case you would need to manually lower it after you figure out which numbers do work for you. But for health guidelines for most people within their BMI, women should not eat less than 1200 calories a day and men I believe it was 1500. So, just thought I'd explain why it didn't go down. I think until I lose more weight then it will stay at that number. I was talking with my Doctor about it and she said to stay on that average 1200-1500 but try and stay to the lower side. I never got it to change on the site. Good luck.

Deanna, Did you ever get it figured out? If so, LET ME KNOW!! I have the same problem! It lets me edit it, but I don't know what to edit it to!! I cannot figure it out either! I am glad to see I am not the only one with this problem! Becky

I have lost 15 lbs and I am not following the sparkdiet however I have been tracking all food/fitness goals here. It says to change diet stage and when I did it didn't change the calorie count. How much should I be eating to still lose weight. My current calorie count is 1200-1550.
