well I started doing the 10 min exercise last year winter on u tube , call the RevelationWelliness.com with Alise Keeton .I listen to her she is a very motivational. spiritual speaker. I could not believe the weight I loss . I went from wearing a size 20- 22 to a size 12 - 14. emoticon

hi everyone,
I just joined today and really want to be part of this challenge. Today was a gym day so did 40 minutes on the treadmill and another 30 minutes weight training. Hope this challenge will get me moving on my non-gym days.

I did 3 of the 7 and 9 minute videos tonight with my daughter. It was fun to do them with her since she is 10. We laughed more than we exercised maybe but did get us up and going.

I have been exceeding the 10 minute workout challenge by walking daily, gardening, heavy cleaning and shopping. emoticon emoticon

Today, I plan on exercising 30 minutes or more. Since it is raining, I will use my trampoline emoticon , sparkpeople video's emoticon and exercise tapes emoticon to meet this challenge

I'm in... walking out the door to finish 6000 steps and I'm in. One of my colleagues has a spouse with cancer and while I've never been great at taking care of ME, I can walk 6,000+ steps every day for her --- especially knowing that she'd love to get through her days let alone walk for pleasure. Go go go! New to all of this -- but celebrating all of you and your achievements already.

Started on the treadmill with my daughter last week. Took Sunday off. Started at 2% incline at 1.5mph for 30 minutes. Now this week I am at 4.5% at 2mph for 30 minutes. Trying to push harder. Have lost 7lbs in that week. Watching my calories has helped. Heading to the gym at 6pm today to have another go at it. :) Haven't exercised in years so it's been tough.

Hello All!!!!

New and Old friends. Just letting you know that I still check in every once in a while. Have been tracking but haven't really been exercising except for walking . I have been walking at least 10,000 or more on a daily basis.
At last check I lost 4 pounds. So at least I am going in the right direction.
Keep on Sparking all of you. I am proud of all of you and hope to back into a routine soon.

Just started exercising 3 days ago and my legs are killing me. I hope it gets easier. I think I may be over doing it. Trying to hang in there and work through the pain. Like they say, No pain, No gain, right?

Welcome back soon Franki!

Day 1 - again - 32 minute lunch walk.

I was disappointed to not exercise yesterday. We had a lunch meeting so my usual lunch walk wasn't possible. Then when I got home I felt miserable from eating so many calories at lunch (800 vs the usual 300-400) that I had to lay down. Anyway, back to it!

I decided last night to start again on SparkPeople. Time to jump on board and work on improving my health. Day 1: 10 min of desk chair strength exercises at work. Dog walking on the agenda for this evening.

And this journey begins.... emoticon

Hello old friends and welcome to all the newcomers!!!

As I am not back into the swing of things just yet, just wanted to let you all know that I am still here.
Just started my diet again. Will start exercising next. One step at a time.
