If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit. I used xanthum gum in almost all of my gluten-free baking. I made gf pumpkin donuts over the weekend and they were AMAZING. I served them at a dinner party (alongside my husband's donut soup--oh yes, donut soup) and everyone kept saying, "Are you SURE these are gluten-free?" :) I will post the recipe when I get a chance.

No. I didn't even think to use xantham gim. I have some too. Not used to gluten-free baking. These are cake donuts, and they have a nice fine crumb. Is xantham gim used more for bready type of things? Like bread? Or is it also in things like cakes nd muffins? I'm really new to GF.
