If you aren't putting your miles on Bike to the Moon, please do so! That's a fun thread.
And there is no law that says your miles have to be outdoors. I encourage people to try riding in more adverse weather so that they aren't put off by imperfect conditions, but if it snows here I will definitely be on the stationary myself!
This is the time of year when most of us slow down on biking and store the bikes away. But with a little preparation we can extend our biking season. So the November challenge is to bike every day of this month. Even if it's just to the end of your block and back, get your seat on your seat and turn those pedals! And report in to get encouragement and to encourage each other!
I biked 17 miles today. I read that the local nature center was having a quilt show today and tomorrow, so I biked down there.
When I got there, I discovered that I had MISread. That the quilt show is NEXT weekend at the nature center, but that the SENIOR center is having one today and tomorrow. So tomorrow I will bike to the senior center!
