Well, I used to be 5' 6.5", but I think I've shrunk a half inch. I carry my weight all over, but I seem to lose it from the butt and chest first (with much pouting from DH).

I'm 5' 9.5". I've always thought and said I'm 5' 10" but our daughter (who's only just turned 14!) is about the same height as me and was 5' 8.5" when we did the "yardstick-against-the-wall" thing. I hardly believed it, so I measured myself at work (the hospital) on a digital stadiometer (the gold standard) to get the 5' 9.5" measurement. I guess I've shrunk a little!
So maybe our daughter is closer to 5' 9" already?? Sigh...

"I can't get there from anywhere but here."

Rewards:
[X] 2 weeks: New water bottle
[X] 1 month: New gym shoes
[X] 3 months/10% body weight: New workout clothes (still haven't bought these yet!)
[ ] Birthday: Come and gone, no idea what to get myself :-(
[X] Cool weather: new hiking stuff
[ ] ONEderland -- start planning our next major vacation!
[ ] Some day/bucket list goal: hike to Havasupai Falls (and out again...)

I am 5'4" and I used to have a nice hour glass figure not it is more like a nice month figure. I carry it all over but when I lose it seems to fall of my butt and when I gain it goes on my stomach never have figured out the rhyme or reason for it.

I'm 5'8" and carry my weight evenly all over for the most part, the nice thing is that I lose it evenly too.

My goals are set for 2014 and I am ready to get healthy! I just turned 40, I just had a beautiful baby boy and I want to be a great roll model for him.

I am 5'6" and carry my excess weight pretty evenly, all over. I guess it depends on your body type. When I was fit and at my proper BMI I was symetrical, I guess the fat knows where to go to fill in where needed! emoticon

I am just under 5' 4" and I am truly one of those people who carry the weight "all over". I do have a saggy belly from my 2 pregnancies, but unless I am wearing really bad fitting clothes, I don't look nearly has heavy as I am. I will admit, the last time I got down to under 170, most of my co-workers noticed it in my face first.

I am a "shorty" at least by my husbands standards! I am 5'3" so any amount of extra weight REALLY shows!! I noticed a lot of people on here were in my weight range and just wondered, how do you carry your weight? Me? All gut (and face)
