Today I walked it out for 67 minutes, Burned 216 calories and walked 10150 steps then I walked Mr. Kaiser around the circle for 15 min . in the am and another 15 min in the pm.

Walked Mr. Kaiser around the circle 2 times and then I Walked It Out for 57 minutes, burned 201 calories, stepped 10,257 steps. My pedometer broke so I can't tell you how manytotal steps I took but I will estimate about 14,000.

I walked Mr. K twice around the circle. Once at a brisk pace (am) and a slower pace because of the heat. Both were 15 minutes. Then I did 29 minutes on the WII and then I did laundry, baked bread, ground wheat berries. Went to Wendy's for Salads. Whoops and I also ran the sweeper on the rugs and made the beds. I am really tired tonight.

Also did my shoulder exercises. 12 of them

Physical activity so far to day are as follows:
1 = stair stepping
2 = walk
3 = pulled weeds (a wheel barrell full )
4 = scrubbed and bleached 11 full size coolers and their lids
5 = cleared out a shed and reorganized it
6 = mopped the kitchen, entrance, hallway, phone room and a bathroom
7 = cleaned the backyard white fence
8 = removed tree and yard debree from garden area
9 = gardening

Did a partial fitness class at the YMCA, walked mom's dog, did 5,000 meters on a rowing machine. two chin ups, core work out tape 30 minutes of garden watering by hand and weed pulling, climbed up and down stairs multiple times, heavy house work, climbed "under" a bed to remove hidden treasures placed there by grandchildren (lol)

Today I did lots of walking. Went to Home Depot, checked out vacumn's and then to Loew's and also checked them out then bought a Eureka bagless vacuum for my carpets and a Shark vac and steam for the tile floors.

Then came home and got to work. I vacuumed and was so impressed. I love it so far.

Walked Mr. Kaiser around the circle this morning and plan to do the same tonight.

Today I walked Mr. Kaiser around the village 2 times, then went to PT for 70 minutes. Yesterday I did my Wii program of walk it out and really overworked my poor arm so I didn't do it today but will pick it up again on Friday.

I am truly looking forward to the Mall walk tomorrow. Husband made sure the car is in good working condition.

Now I have to relate a funny story to you all.

DH put in a new lawn in the front yard, Our sprinkler system for the front is zone 1 & 2. Now before DH goes to work he sets the sprinkler for zone 1 and when that goes off I must do zone 2. Now that is not to hard to do if everything works like it is supposed to. However this morning it didn't.

I set zone 2 to run 45 minutes and then it should have shut off however it didn't so I figured I didn't do the timer right or I lost track of time. So after much stress I left it and went to the Hairdresser. The Hairdresser only takes 30 minutes with 5 min there and 5 mins. back so I figured it should be shut off by the time I got home. Well It didn't so here I am all alone, DH is at work and no neighbors around. What to do?

A light bulb went off and I remembered what DH did when neighbors sprinkler system got stuck on so I went looking for a valve. Remember I just got my hair done, so I grabbed the shower cap and the umbrella, which I opened in the hopes of staying as dry as possible. I am sure I looked as lovely in my shower cap and umbrella as any movie star (LOL) Thank goodness no neighbors around. Well the umbrella was pretty useless in keeping me dry but the shower cap worked great as my hair at least stayed dry but until I found the right zone and shut it off I was soaked clear through.

However I have to tell you I felt so proud of myself for taking care the of problem by myself that I sure didn't mind getting that wet.

Just goes to show you that no matter what if you stop to think things through you will succeed and what a great feeling that is.

Today is my walk/run day. I wish I had a Zumba class near me! I am sort of following the 5k your way , however I am not ready for the walk run they have , but I am too anxious to just walk so I am adding a few jogs in as I was doing a month ago before I got sick. Saturday in the 30 min I was on the treadmill (the first three being my warm up and the last 5 being my cool down,) I got five 30-second runs and one 1-minute run!! I was soo psyched. espc. after the sore ankle the other day,(think it really was that I didn't stretch correctly after my walk/run on Thursday?)

Loretta and I spent a wonderful time at Gilbert Park in Mt. Dora having a picnic and then walked the nature trail at sunset. It was so very nice. Had to do plenty of stretching before I even left the house though because I am SO sore for the walking I have been doing this week.

added a min to my elliptical, making it 8 min ANND

drum roll

ran for TWO 1 min 30 second intervals and TWO 1 min 10 second intervals WOOT WOOT almost 1/3 of the time runnng. AND I ended up adding distance and speed unintentionally
