I don't know if you guys have tried the "Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken" recipe off of sparkrecipes.
This is my go-to recipe. Of course, I change it up a bit sometimes. EVERYONE in my house likes this. I don't use as much of the taco seasoning as it calls for.
My slow cooker actually cooks pretty fast. When I make it with thawed chicken it takes about 5 hours to cook. If I use frozen chicken breast (because I completely forgot to get something out for dinner) It takes almost the entire 8 hours to cook through. Doesn't matter to me though because all I have to do is open cans and plop it in the slow cooker.
I shred it up 30-45 minutes before serving and serve mine over Minute Brown Rice. Always a success at my table.
