Well welcome back Skinnie...we missed you can't wait to see what recipe you try after the grocery store run. PB and J and apples sounds good...may do that for lunch tomorrow.

Was MIA for a few days - liking the challenge! Yay! I'm doing a grocery run tomorrow, so dinner was classic PB&J! (all we had left! Hahaha) HOWEVER ---- it was on Arnolds 100% stone ground whole wheat bread, natural PB and no HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) jelly. Also served up some apple slices.

So my recipe I tried was popover pizza. Dish is awesome and filling I added a can of tomatoes and used italian blend cheese. Even picky eaters will love this...but if you use over a 9x13 pan double popover dough recipe

Sounds awesome I may have to try it. I do something very close with Hamburger and rice and I add a little bit of cheese as well. Can't wait to figure out my new try recipe this week.

I don't know if you guys have tried the "Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken" recipe off of sparkrecipes.
This is my go-to recipe. Of course, I change it up a bit sometimes. EVERYONE in my house likes this. I don't use as much of the taco seasoning as it calls for.
My slow cooker actually cooks pretty fast. When I make it with thawed chicken it takes about 5 hours to cook. If I use frozen chicken breast (because I completely forgot to get something out for dinner) It takes almost the entire 8 hours to cook through. Doesn't matter to me though because all I have to do is open cans and plop it in the slow cooker.

I shred it up 30-45 minutes before serving and serve mine over Minute Brown Rice. Always a success at my table.

If you haven't had it, try it! Delicious!!!

Yes I know it is still November for two more days but this makes my life easier with setting stuff up without further rambling.....This week go the the Sparkrecipes.com site and pick one recipe for dinner. Make the recipe and review. If you need to do a makeover go for it, lets us know if it was a hit or miss.
