What color are your eyes?
Brown, Cajun/Native American & yes Irish from my mother's side.
If you were going on a round-the-world tour, what foreign city would be your first stop?
Actually if I were able to travel like that, time money & physically able, I'd like tropical islands, rain forests & protected animal refuge sites like Kenya's. I'd like to go back to Seville, Spain where I lived for several years & where my daughter was born.
Do you have kids? Brag them up here!
I have 3, all grown! My oldest lives in Tallahassee works as an IT specialist, married to a dental assistant/ office manager with a beautiful 16 year old daughter.
My daughter lives here in town with her life partner. She is visually impaired but not slowed down by it. She's on the dean's list studying Social Work. She has 3 great teenagers as well as 3 half-kids too! They all call me Nana.
My youngest has a good job, loves riding his bike, lives here in Daytona too & is firmly single & is losing weight too.
My oldest is on SP & I'm working on the youngest to join too!
When you were little, what was the first thing you can remember wanting to be when you grew up? Did you do it?
I wanted to be a boy where I could run around without a shirt. I also wanted to be a cowboy, a singer & a nurse. I became a nurse like my Mom, was a crack shot with pistols & skeet but I have never had a horse & people will pay me NOT to sing. LOL
What’s an accomplishment you’re particularly proud of?
Having worked for freedom & justice! I was a strong activist for the things I believed in, as a "job" sometimes but always stood up for what I believe in. My daughter jokes that we both carry our soapbox in our pockets to be used as needed.
