I watched the kids while hubby got the vehicles ready for spring -- they all got washed, studs taken off, oil changed, the one van prepped and ready to pick up the college boy on Saturday. I did get out to the dogs for a bit -- had to chase off the neighbor kids who bug them. I'd love to scare them, but they happen to be our tenants, so I have to be nice. Just how many times do you have to tell a kid to go away? Obviously more than once a week.

Haven't done much exercise yet. unless making six dozen snickerdoodle cookies counts. Talk about a temptation! I shared one with hubby. Luckily it tasted a bit too sweet for me, so I'm not tempted to eat anymore. Most of them are leaving the house on Tuesday, so that will help as well.

Walking..a lot of walking. Had to take my daughter to SAM's for big items and I walked that place at least 4 times..then on the super Walmart...did the same thing. I count that since I'm always so tired when I get home...need to do my elliptical tonight.

It was a stay at home day for me -- hubby does Saturday errands with our son while I watch my home improvement shows. While doing so, I'm always making something. Today was hickory smoked tuna sandwiches for lunch. Then I helped my daughter make her favorite salad dressing -- curry mustard. After lunch we go up to the property to take progress pictures of the house (and I clean the bathroom that the contractors use). We come back and spend time with the dogs. It was too hot for them today (70 degrees!), so we didn't try to make them run today. Our poor house dog is black long-haired and just wants to lie in the shade. Saturdays are never big workout days for me (unless I have to do the big shopping -- CostCo and the base commissary), so I spend extra time Sunday making up for it.

KECHARA14, we have all our dogs on glucosamine as a preventative (they are all big dogs). Lucy, the house dog, takes pills and the rest have powder mixed in their morning food. It works wonders for hubby and his "trick" knee, so why not the dogs? Luckily, they eat anything, so they're easy to treat.
