This bean salad is easy to make, tastes great, is vegan and you can play with amounts--just use this as a guide.

Great Bean Salad

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can niblets corn
1 onion, chopped fine
1 red or green pepper, chopped fine
¼ cup water
¼ cup oil
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup red wine vinegar
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon cumin
½ bunch cilantro, chopped
Some salt to taste

Mix beans, corn, onions and peppers in large bowl. Mix liquids, garlic, cumin, cilantro in small bowl—whisk together. Pour over beans and vegetables. Let stand at least one hour before serving.

Great, ladies! I had blackberries yesterday along with my regular grains.
Yes, Dianne, I would like the bean salad recipe.
We had baked potatoes last night topped with beans and a green salad. Delicious!
I have had tonsillitis, so have not been too encouraging either. Seems like it will never go away but I am finally feeling better.

I have made a big bean salad--that helps LOTS with the fiber--let me know if you want the recipe.

I get my water ALWAYS and 30 minutes 5 days a week isn't an issue.

Biggest problem--being encouraging to you!! But ladies--we can do it!!

I need help on all points. Since I have not been feeling good since last week, I have not been juicing or eating high fiber. Today I am back to it!

Howdy Team! I'm officially on Spark break . . . only because I was spending too much time sitting at the computer. Spring is here and I'm keeping busy doing stuff I should be doing, rather than sitting at the computer.

So far so good.
Got exercise in Monday and Tuesday night cleaning up my property. We had a terrible ice storm just before Christmas and since we live in a bush our property is covered with branches and sticks. It has been covered with snow until this week so now we are busy cleaning up as the snow melts away.
Water has never been difficult for me and my fiber intake is pretty good.
Hope everyone is doing well!

So far so good - had a cup of blackberries (8 g fiber) because I hadn't had a chance to add dinner to my tracker and I felt like I was going to be low on the fiber count - turns out I would have just made 25 w/o berries - but they are so good and good for me

Linda....don't get mad.....I'm 99% in......
You know how much I hate drinking water. Not only just the taste but, it sometimes upsets my tummy. I will buy some Lemon Flavored Propel Water tomorrow and see how that goes.

They say April showers bring May flowers. Shower your body with plenty of water and veggies, it will benefit you for the best!
Eat fiber!
High fiber foods:
Carrots, sweet potatoes, avocados, whole wheat, quinoa, oats, barley, peppers, bananas, berries of all types, etc. Even seeds and nuts have fiber, but take it easy on the nuts, they are also high in fats. Do I need to mention your colon????
On that note, some fats are good for you and some bad. Eat the good ones, nuts, extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed oils, coconut oil and yes, I said it, butter is better for you than margarine!

So the challenge for April should you decide to take it is:
Drink your water, at least 8 - 8oz. glasses a day
Eat more fiber in the forms of soluble fiber, fruits, veggies, whole grains
Encourage your team mates that are taking this challenge with you
Exercise at least 30 minutes a day 5 days a week

Results? Pink cheeks, clear skin, firmer body, need I say more?
