I don't think this answers your question....but I eat a lot of coconut oil!! I love it it helps with cravings and huger and I am shrinking lol!

I believe Tosca's book says to eat 18% of your food from fat. That seems low, since Sparkpeople says 30%. What do your breakdowns look like at the end of the day?
Today was my first day of trying to follow the diet, and I was at nearly 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carbs. Most of the fat was from peanut butter at breakfast and just a few nuts later in the day, a few grams from a veggie burger and some from 2 low fat string cheeses and a tiny bit of light mayo. I ate lots more protein than usual, and stuck with good-quality complex carbs, but I'm not sure if I'm eating too much fat. Does anyone have input on this? Thanks!
