My sodium level my lst set of lab tests was low. doctor is going to watch that because your body does require a certain amount of sodium.

Wed - Fat -56, chol - 74, Sodium - 1627 I have a friend that lost over 50 pounds. He called it his cave man diet. If it wasn't available for the cave man (protein and veggies) he didn't eat it. I have to find something a bit more reasonable for me.

I am in the same boat! And work is keeping me so busy I don't know which end is up. I know the cholesterol is good. And I know I am not getting enough exercise. Talked to the doctor about changing meds, but it will wait til this summer. Hang in there! emoticon

Haven't logged in food for almost a week.
Haven't lost any new weight, just going back and forth.
Weigh the same as I did back in Jan.
With what my sister and I are doing, we should be dropping
a pound a week (give or take), not putting it on.
Going to try (still) to eat healthier and just keep track of
water, fruits, veggies and exercise for now.
Tired of logging food and going nowhere.

I went to the doctor, got a test for cholesterol and my ldls are at 199. The doctor recommended that I go on statins. I have fibro so I requested that my doctor allow me some time to lower them by change in diet and exercise. I just read that diet alone is not a substitute for meds. I have read some negative side affects and because I am already in pain with fibro I was hoping to avoid the statins.. emoticon I go back to him in a few months and have to bring a new test results.. My fingers are crossed that I can change my low density lipids to a bit lower than the original results.. ...

cholesterol (68) and sodium within levels. Fat is high by about 15. Low on protein today. Go figure! May be hit and miss this week. Conferences at school so two late nights for sure.

didn't track the weekend or today. Started a new (temporary med) Really watching the blood pressure (side effect is lowers the BP). It was low normal in doctor office. How nice!

Today I went over on the fat (87) and calories (1707). Carbs and cholesterol good. Went under on protein and calcium. Started taking a multivitamin. So far I am remembering that better than I did the plain calcium pill. Not sure why! emoticon

emoticon All numbers are good and I got in the water. It is amazing how good I can be when I don't feel good. Of course that isn't always the best either. No breakfast and not much lunch. Just keeping the fluids going!

Getting 8 cups of water each day, is part of this 2 week challenge my sister and I our doing.
It's helped me get it.
Started cholesterol meds today, it's been to high to long for the doctor, so she put me on them.
Been trying to get it down with exercise and eating right, not working, it's that mom thing. See if it comes down now. Don't need no heart attack or stroke.

Good day today. Little high on fat, everything else ok. Did much better on water thanks to the challenge at work! emoticon

Cholesterol and fat a bit high today. Didn't stick to my regular routine for supper. I think our fitness challenge at school will help. Also trying to increase my water. Other numbers looked good.
