Good morning team. This will be my last post for this challenge.

9/2/2013 - My challenge starting weight was 477 lbs & SP Fitness Minutes: 959
Halloween goals: to have lost 30 lbs. and exercised 1200 min.

10/30/13 – Today’s weight 447.2 & SP Fitness Minutes: 3795

So I more than doubled the fitness minute goal I set for myself and I’m just .2lbs shy of meeting my goal of losing 30 lbs in 2 months. It’s been a good couple of months for me and I hope to repeat this performance again between now and the end of the year.

Looks like you're doing great! I forgot to update, things have been crazy. Yesterday was my birthday and I am happy to say that I was at 188.2 on my last weigh in. That means I am .2 lbs away from meeting my goal for this challenge. It also means that I have lost 50 lbs in total, so that is exciting!

Hello there! Letha congrats on meeting your minutes goal!

Today's weigh in was surprisingly pleasant. I weighed in at 190.1, a loss of 2.3 lbs. I have been working really hard, and I have promised myself that I will keep up the good work this upcoming week! I am 2.1 lbs from my goal, and I really think I am going to get there! My total loss so far is 47.9 lbs.

Hello all!

Just doing my weekly check in. This morning I weighed in at 192.4. That is a loss of 1.6 pounds. I am very happy with that, and I am going to try even harder this week to get it down even lower. I have 4.4 pounds left to get to my Halloween goal! I need to get working!

10/10 check in.

Weight is down to 213.6 -- I saw 211 at some point this week, but I ate a really salty meal on Tuesday night and I think I'm still holding onto some of that... but, it's a 0.4 lb loss this week so not too shabby! I'm having a fun time trying to fit in all my freggies, and I acually got to 7 last night!! I usually have trouble getting in my 5, so I'm still aiming for that for now. I'm going to make a "rule" that I can't eat chocolate or cereal (my nemeses at night for a snack) until my freggies are in... last night we finished off the grapes but I'm thinking smoothies at night might need to replace my cereal habit for now (it's getting a bit out of hand, eating 2 bowls a day!). My physical therapy has been going really well too, and I'm happy with my progress. I haven't made it to the gym in between therapy days this week because I've been too busy, but I plan on going at least once this weekend. Happy Thursday everyone!!

Wow 1.2 is still a great loss!! I remember many weeks where I'd be down 0.2 or just 0... but we all lose differently! Keep on keepin on and you'll get there!! :)

Hello all!

Looks like you guys are doing great! I am a little disappointed because I weighed in at 194 today, which is only a loss of 1.2 lbs. But I have to remind myself, any loss is better than no loss. I am STRUGGLING to hit the gym. No time or motivation, and I find myself "cheating" a little too often. For the next week, I HAVE to stay on track. I am halfway to my goal of losing 12 lbs before Halloween, and I am determined to make it happen!

10/3 check in.

I'm down to 214.0, which is awesome/ means I'm in the right direction! Not sure if I'll get to my 10lbs by Halloween (it's basically 9 lbs from where I am now, since I slipped a little in September). Workouts are going GREAT! I'm finally able to go to the gym on my own and do some elliptical + my PT exercises, which are basically ab stabilizing exercises. This weekend I plan on swimming once and doing the elliptical the other time. I'm getting in all my water and freggies so far this week and hope to continue that into the weekend! Happy Sparking! :D

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a lovely week! I've stuck to my goals pretty well this week, I didn't hit the gym as much as I would have liked. I work in a Residence Hall, and I have been on-call the past 4 days, so leaving campus to go to the gym hasn't been working out too well.

Anyway... Today's weigh in was 195.2. That's a 2 lb loss from last week! And all together, a loss of 42.8 lbs!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. The past few weeks have been uneventful... my weight is steadily fluctuating between a high 214 and low 217, which is what my body does until it's ready to lose some more (I have PCOS so losing every week now is tough, which is why I've moved to monthly weigh ins to get the grand scheme of it all). I've been alright at tracking, definitely proud of myself for coming back when I've slipped, and my slips are getting smaller so that's good as well. Water intake has been at goal (8+/day), freggies need more work--it's harder to work these in than I remember. I'm thinking of getting a salad today since apparently I'm somewhat lactose intolerant and my yogurt lunches are making me want to vom. Physical therapy is coming along... I decided to not make my 1-2 swims a priority since I did one and it kind of aggravated my back -- I just need to take it slow now and do what I can. Hope everyone's doing well!!

Hello all! I have not been so great at keeping with my goals, because I have been so busy. I have been eating right, but I only made it to the gym once this week. I hurt my ankle so that put me out of commission for a couple days, but it feels a little better today. Hoping to be able to work out again tomorrow.

Anyway... I weighed in at 197 this morning, so I lost 1.2 lbs this week. Not bad for not being able to work out! I have officially lost 41 lbs and it feels really good.

I am working very hard. For this morning I’ve done 3 SparkPeople workout videos for a total of 32 minutes of exercise.

2. Halloween goals: to have lost 8 lbs. and exercised 720 min.
3. To reach those goals I will:
~ not eat processed sugar (desserts, candy, etc.)
~ make a weekly exercise schedule with my partner so we can do this together
~ walk for a half hour, 3x per week
4. I promise to post here weekly.

I lost 2 pounds but only exercised twice (but for more minutes each time). I did a good job avoiding sugar this week.

Sweet! Awesome challenge Kelly!

Start date: 9/2/13

1. My starting weight is 214.8.
2. Halloween goals: to have lost 10lbs. and exercised: 3 PT sessions/week plus 2-3 additional walks or swims (sorry, minutes exercised is meaningless for me with this injury right now).
3. To reach those goals I will:
~ Drink 8 glasses of water a day, minimum
~ Track food 6/7 days on SP nutrition tracker, and stay within range
~ Eat 5 freggies/day, minimum
~ Blog daily about mini and long term goals, and other happenings.
~ Knit at night while watching TV instead of eating when not truly hungry :)
4. I promise to post here weekly.

9-5 - 217.0 (too much salt this weekend! lol)

~ Track my food & eat 1000 – 1200 calories per day

~ Do SparkPeople: 12-Minute Seated Core Workout every other day.
~ Do SP: 9-Minute Seated Arm and Shoulder Workout every other day.
~ Write Spark People Blog daily.

1. My starting weight is 183.6lbs or 83.3kg
2. Halloween goals: to have lost 13.7lbs lbs. (this will put me at my goal weight of 169.9) and exercised 4600min total in this 2 months (30min walk/run in the morning, 60min zumba at night and 25min Focus T-25 workout also at night all done 5 days a week)
3. To reach those goals I will:
- walk/jog/run 30mins daily before i go to work or do anything major
- do 4-5zumba classes per week
-start my Focus T25 this week when it arrives and do each workout per day as required
-eat healthy and stay on plan
get 7-8hours sleep every night!
