I walked 10 miles yesterday!! I'm sure that had to be well over 5000 steps. I'm pretty sore today. Usually I go 4 miles daily at the gym.

Hi, I walk 5000 steps a day, every day. I purchased a pedometer it calculates it for me no hassel. I wish you look. emoticon

Okay. There are team goals - scroll to the bottom of the Forum on the Team Home page. And, then there is a Challenge Forum, which is woefully out of date. I'm in the process of doing more challenges (input welcome) as well as re-looking at the Team Goals (again, input welcome).

Let me know if you don't find what you're looking for.

I am new to Sparks and new to exercise :-) I have a lot to do this year and I am dedicating it to my health. With work slow down, etc. I am dedicating 5 hours per day for conscious eating and exercise. I hope to change some daily habits with this 28 challenge. Thanks for your support and inspiration! emoticon emoticon

I walk at least two and one half miles a day, providing that we don't have one of those days where we are loading the ladder or tower trucks with 1200 foot of hose and all the other equipment that goes on the truck. That can take hours and in itself is quite a bit of exercise, not to mention all the walking back and forth getting the tools, putting them into the compartments, and then starting all over again.

I'm going to start low with 3000 steps per day. Today I start by shoveling 12/10/10 emoticon

Please read below and do not post your steps here.

I have added a team goal of 5,000 steps per day to the team goals. You can view the team goals under the message forums. If you click on the goal, it will show you Recent team member activity as well at the team leader board.

By doing it this way you'll be able to see everyone's activity and how you're doing in relation to others. I think it will be easier than posting to this forum everyday, which can be difficult for many people to do. This will also calculate a total for the team.

4,000 or 5,000 steps a day is fine with me. I keep track of all steps in my day beside the walking.

Yeah, my pedometer died.

I might be able to set a goal for this since the Fitness tracker now has a way to track daily steps.

I wouldn't set the goal for 10,000 because well, that's a lot to keep wearing a pedometer and I always tracked my "non-ordinary" steps, i.e. the walking I did that was not part of my normal day.

The goal could be something like 4,000 or 5,000 steps.
