1 - Modify one Thanksgiving dinner recipe to be healthier.

First time in 32 years I'm NOT cooking the dinner! My daughter, though, is a member of Spark People, and she has modified her stuffing recipe.

2 - identify three things that you are grateful for. Include at least one thing about you which you are grateful for.

my husband and daughter, my work, still having my mother-in-law with us. I am especially grateful to live in a country where I can worship freely.

3 - at least 500 minutes of exercise this month. With the holidays coming, it's important to remember our exercise goals (without obsessing). I believe exercise makes us feel better in addition to the other benefits, so try and keep to your goals, but modify when necessary. I also think we should *enjoy* the holidays.

As of today--I have 640 minutes and still will add more. I am doing nearly all of the recommended exercises. :)

Hi Shirley,
This is the place to post if you're working on the challenge! Take up all or part of it and let the rest of us know how you're doing. Especially modifying the holiday recipe - I can't wait to see the recipes people will share! :-)

Hi everyone. This month's challenge has 3 parts.

1 - Modify one Thanksgiving dinner recipe to be healthier.

2 - identify three things that you are grateful for. Include at least one thing about you which you are grateful for.

3 - at least 500 minutes of exercise this month. With the holidays coming, it's important to remember our exercise goals (without obsessing). I believe exercise makes us feel better in addition to the other benefits, so try and keep to your goals, but modify when necessary. I also think we should *enjoy* the holidays.

This months goal is a combination of the suggestions received and I thank you for those suggestions.
