Since thanksgiving is this month (for the us anyhow) another challenge could be a thankful challenge - a little hokey ... but it's one of those things that I definitely do struggle with.

For each day of the month - pick something about yourself that you are thankful for... the way you are right now -not the way you will be when you hit your goal weight.

Or again - focusing on thanksgiving again...

The Pilgrims arrived at Plymoth rock in 1620 i think (i'm old but not that old.. :D I wasn't there :) using that number - aim for 1620 exercise minutes for the month- that's just under an under a day.. kind of a lot but it never hurts to aim high :)

I like the recipe challenge idea. I think we'll go with that.

Ooh, I really like the recipe makeover challenge idea, Maleficent. This time of year, having an arsenal of traditional-recipes-made-healthier would be a wonderful thing.

for a holiday related 'bonus'

for every lb lost during the month of november -or extend it thru the holiday season..

donate 1 can of food to your local food bank... but do take note of how heavy that bag is :)

For closer to the holidays.. do a 12 days of christmas challenge..or a 12 goals for the end of the year... pick 12 things you're gooing to do for yourself :) or your health...

as for the november hcallenge this is a cooking team :) gotta go with food related.. challenge yourself to make over your family favorites so that your family will still eat them... and yet you won't break the calorie or fat bank...

Well, another month is almost upon us and it's a holiday month (Thanksgiving in the US).

So, ideas for holiday related challenges? Also, what would ya'll think about an exercise related challenge, say so many minutes in November or so many days per week?

Other challenge ideas welcome as well.
