One easy recipe that I use with the crock pot a lot.
2 beef bullion cubes (low sodium if you can) 2 cups boiling water 1 roast of whatever looks good salt & pepper carrots potatoes
Heat water and stir in bullion cubes Season roast with salt & pepper and any other spices you might like. Place roast in crock pot with bullion heat on low for 8 - 10 hours or high for 4 - 6 hours. Add vegetables for the last 2 hours.
For any leftovers I add corn and green beans along with more bullion to make a nice soup.
I have a small situation where my significant other does not like meats that have been previously frozen unless we are using the crock pot. I don't want to be at the grocery store every day either. Does anyone have any semi-healthy crockpot ideas so I can find a middle-ground?
