Started the day with the spark recipe OATMEAL PANCAKES and had enough left over to save for about 2 more breakfasts. I ground oats into flour and it worked out well. Loved them! I'm trying to stay free from white flour, sugar and whole wheat. I'm full for change and not looking for snacks emoticon

Thanks Wendy! that sounds really good. I've never really been a potato soup person, but just tried a can of the Progresso Cheesy Bacon potato soup that has just 4 pt. for the entire can and I really liked it --- so this is very timely as I prefer to make my own b/c of the sodium and since I don't have any recipes ---- I'm so glad you posted!!!

Crockpot Potato Soup for Weight Watchers (Very Good) emoticon

Makes 8-10 cup servings
WW Pts+: 3 per cup

Ingredients:
1 26-30 ounce bag frozen hash browns (plain)
2 14 ounce cans non-fat chicken broth
1 10-3/4 can 98% fat free cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 tsp pepper
1 - 8 ounce pkg lowfat (1/3 less fat) cream cheese
1 cup fat free milk

Directions:

Add first 5 ingredients to crockpot and cook on high for an hour
Stir and then turn to low for another hour.
Add cream cheese, and cook another 1/2 hour or until cheese can be stirred into mixture.
Add milk and cook 10 - 15 minutes longer.

Optional: Garnish with chopped green onion and bacon bits. (Add 1 pt for garnish)
Variation: Use frozen Country potatoes or Potatoes O'Brien in place of the hash browns.

I discovered a new 3 pt snack that I like and get a lot of crunch out of ------------- it's a 3/4 c of dry Golden Grahams cereal! sweet, crunchy, portable, non-perishable and something that's not a veggie/fruit for a change! Plus, if I pretend that I'm getting hundreds of graham crackers (although very tiny little graham crackers!) I feel pretty satisfied! And if I want to eat hundreds of little donuts ---- I can always switch to Cheerios!!!! or Fruit Loops!

I have a huge pot of low point veggie soup on the stove right now! And it's smelling sooooo good!!!! I love to make a pot of something going into the weekend --- it gets me through those times when I gotta have something quick and low points --- I'm just a quick microwave reheat away from a hot delicious OP snack or meal!!!!

Sounds delicious Timothy!

I ended up eating a veggie burger for dinner and then too many snacks - chips & salsa and a bowl of cereal (at least it was Kashi) and went way over my points for the day.

Well all i know is i read if you feed your body why would it lose fat on itself. Its job is to hold it for

times you need it. All i know is it is working for me and i plan to not stop. I feel better already as

i have cut out all bad foods or about. NO cookies i was eating all day and no sugar tea

the South has issues on saying no to that, I eat no white foods or baked goods.

I am am

eating every day a good breakfast

two bacon cooked well done and one full egg and my coffee thats it i use eat many cookies and coffee

lunch is school with baby so i take

cutie orange or boiled egg and eat only white 17 calories egg is like 70

often i take dab pineapple or some type low low calorie deli meat wassa cracker

supper is vegetable patty and mostly vegetables and fruit fruit fruit is my snack and saving me.

I have lost 11 pounds and need to lose 5 more to even get back into my body mass index safe

range.

I am in 130s and need to be in low 120s in pounds altho i cant for life me get my counter back on

my page

i write down all i eat every snack every bite and i measure by cup or half foods like that

i do not eat no cereal or corn and i never have drank but soda so i drink coke 0 and use splenda

Sure all of us are different what work for one maybe not for some.

Good luck on your plan just find one that you can like or you want stay on it

I buy produce and fruit now not much meat but chicken or bacon and i eat meat once day or not at

all.

I do take a b12 vit and vit d

this tho is due to many stomach surgerys has nothing to do with my 1,000 a day plan.

If you do not get b12 in meat you need it in something.

My body will not hold it so i have to take it daily rest my life a prescription mg which is very high

good luck.

Google body mass index add your height weight and it tell you where you stand and to lose a

pound you got to eat at least 500 less calories a day .

Main meal base today and yesterday is homemade vegetable soup off the so called Sacred Heart soup diet altho it is not really from they , they say. It is nothing but vegetables and simmered till tender and it is really filling and low calories. Yummy. I am eating well but staying under my 1000 calorie goal and feeling fine. NO scale yet but hope when i weight i see difference.

Main thing is counting calories showed me i was Overeating by a ton. Cookie here cookie there and
bad choices.

I write what i eat now before i prepare each meal or eat. If item is to high i chose a different item.
