Hi Divas -

Have you used SparkPeople's goal setting tool?
I did, but then I had a friend do a more complete evaluation since I do lots of walking at work and due to that we reset my calorie needs.

What is your recommended calorie range set by SparkPeople?
I set my range at 1600 - 2000. I will keep it at that this month since I just started honestly tracking my food, and reevaluated in Feb.

How many days are you supposed to workout using that tool?
I am aiming for 4-5 days of working out.

Are your trying to stay within your daily calories?
For January I will be rigorously focusing on my daily range.

Do you track everything you eat?
Yes, only occasionally I can't find the item so i sub something I think will have similar qualities.

What would you change if anything?
I am going to look very carefully at the choices I am making and make changes as needed on a monthly basis. If something isn't working I will examine why and make adjustments.

Keep stepping on the healthy path.
Lynn

Have you used SparkPeople's goal setting tool? Yes

What is your recommended calorie range set by SparkPeople?
Originally it was set at 1750 calories and up. After 3 weeks of struggling to meet this range with healthy foods, I lowered it to 1400-1750.

How many days are you supposed to workout using that tool?
3 days per week

Are your trying to stay within your daily calories?
I struggle getting in enough calories most days.

Do you track everything you eat?
90% of the time, yes. There is an odd day here and there where I either forget to enter a snack, of just don`t want to take the time to enter the information. Not often

What would you change if anything?
I have been tweaking my program as I go. I now workout 6 days per week. Burn over 10x as many calories as SP suggests. Weight loss is slow, but it is coming off. That`s the important issue

What are you going to do today to reach your goals of tomorrow?

It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it GREAT
