that is a great subsituted.

I am new to this group but i looked at what i have done according to this challange, and i have been doing rather well. Although i lack on a new recipe each week aspects. I usually subsitute things for healthier ways to cook it or ingredients but as trying something new i have not really done that. Although since this week i have had the flu and at the beginning of this i could not keep anything down i found a cabbage soup that has been helping me keep it down and slowly working on other foods to consume. Has also been helping with my congestion which is great too.

Wanted to share with you all.... I took two boxes of hamburger helper beef pasta and instead of reg.hamburger I use ground turkey and skim milk. It came out great and we had a tossed salad on the side. the hubby and kids love it and they didn't even know they was eating turkey in fact hubby had two plates fill..

I am coming on board for the challenge. I have this thyroid thing going on but the good news is that I am loosing bmi instead of weight. That is the must bizarre thing but I am motivated to commit to my exercise program. Amen! emoticon

November Challenge: emoticon

WOW, November is Turkey Month, Where is the time going? November is right around the corner a long with that famous Turkey dinner. emoticon

What do you want to look like come the holidays? Or more importantly what do you want to feel like?

So you know what that means, a wonderful Thanksgiving day with the family filled with laughs, new memories, and lots of food! I want you to make at least ONE healthy dish for Thanksgiving dinner. It can be a whole new dish you wantto try, or it can be a traditional turkey dinner dish but a healthier version.

November is going to be one of our most challenging months. With a holiday that celebrates food (and lots of it....at one time...), office potlucks, holiday gatherings and parties are sure to abound.

Lets focus this November and lose the weight. We can do it together...


1.) Drink 8-10 Glasses of water a day. emoticon


2) Lose 5 -10 lbs in the month of November.


3.) Stay within your calorie/points range for any given day 6/7 days a week.


4.) Try one new healthy recipe each week for you and your family.


5.) Work out 30 minutes or more a day 6 days a week and track it! Let's kick some butt
