have you been tracking your calorie intake. I too just started about 3 days ago and tracking my calorie intake making sure that I get about 100 grams of protein and no more than 30 grams of fat has kept me from getting hungry which has made it easy. although my current weight loss of 6 lbs is much higher than the 7000 calorie deficit I have had.

measure yourself, in different area's and log them monthly you are probably losing inches, there are also subliminal weight loss and motivation tuff on you tube look them up and take a few minutes a day to relax and listen, good luck I am right with you it is so frustrating to not see results but don't give up emoticon

Today's weigh-in...my daughter has lost another 3.5 pounds for a total of 23.5. And I have lost another 5 pounds for a total of 23 pounds.

I hope this counts, I am returning to Sparkpeople after a very long absence. I have lost 18 pounds in the last 5-6 weeks and would like to add it to the total if possible. Also, my 13 year old daughter has joined spark teens and has lost 20 pounds in the same time frame. I have recently been undergoing lots of health tests/procedures to find out what all is wrong with me and I have a laundry list of problems. I do not want my daughter to have to deal with this later in her life and she is a great inspiration and motivator. My heart goes out to him and his family.

I have been here for a while! When I started my weight loss journey, I was at 380. I was 376 when I found SP a little over a year ago. I quit after a month and joined up again early this year. I am determine to do it this time. I got down to 349 last week but gain 9 back. It is hard and frustrating, but I need to do this for my health but also for my 11 who is at 189. If I can be a good influence to him and make healthier meals, I am sure he will lose some too.
