I've done a similar soup diet. Sacred Heart. :) Works great, a good tip for this one is to use bullion cubes instead of canned broth because they sometimes cook the animal in the broth for flavor. I also use negative calorie foods & spices to change up the soup every couple weeks, otherwise you will go crazy having the same thing.

I like to add mushrooms, jalapenos, broccoli.. etc. Look up a negative or low cal list. :)

I ran across this recipe at www.allrecipes.com ( at least I think that is where it was) and even though I am not a cabbage lover, it is rather delicious.

Makes 12 one cup servings

6 cups beef broth or 2 pkgs onion soup plus 6 cups of water. ( I use the onion soup and water)
28 ounces diced tomato with juice
2 tablespoons tomato paste
4 cups chopped cabbage
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup green beans
1 cup chopped zucchini
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 garlic clove chopped ( I use garlic flakes or just put in some garlic powder while cooking)
salt and pepper to taste
------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Spray pot with non stick cooking spray. Saute' onions, garlic and carrots for 5 minutes.
2) Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
3) You can add vegetables and seasoning of your choice.
