I'm not sure how this work with Bulghur Burgers but at the health food store there is something called xanthum (gum) (another item I think is called guar) (doesn't sound like food does it?) If I'm not thinking about the right items you can check with someone there, Whole Foods customer service folks are really helpful. I remember these from sometime ago when another veggie friend of mine and I were talking about making brownies and what would hold them together.

Hope this works!

There's tomato paste & tahini that kind of bind the bulgur together. After cooking the bulgur you mix the above ingredients in along with some chopped carrots, parsley, and scallions, form burgers and bake or cook in a pan. They're pretty tasty. But, I haven't had much luck getting them to stay together

Never tried to do something like that. How did you cook them?

Hey All,

It's been forever since I posted here. Hope everyone had a great holiday season.

I made the Moosewood's Bulghur Burgers recipe last night for dinner and they practically fell apart. Just wondering if anyone has made this recipe with success or had any suggestions on making 'em stick together better.
